It would have been nice to have a direct link to a color chart. I'm fixing a 90 year old chair that a dog decided looked too goo to pass up. Obviously I need to match the original color. Still all the info was provided clearly and I'll give TimberMate a try.
ОтветитьYou need to garner more subscribers. Such a lovely all round product.
ОтветитьGreat Australian product......lets hope it doesn’t get swallowed up by some overseas multi-national company like so many other great Aussie products have!!!
Ответитьthank you . i want to add color so i add the dye it to the grain filler ,coating the whole board then sand back so i get a hint of color ? then seal coat ?
ОтветитьI have been looking for something to fill in the grain on old oak kitchen cabinets. This looks like the perfect product. Thank you for the video.
ОтветитьI wish they had better instructions on the packet. I've applied this stuff undiluted and it never dried.
Dilited it's very weak and after it sets if water gets on it it turns soft again. I can't trust it.
A lot of positive reports about this stuff, but I don't get it -- it seems to be an aqueous suspension of a powder with no actual binding agent. How can that be good enough for filling anything except grain and very small defects (where, presumably, enough of the final finish is absorbed for it to act as the binding agent), and how can it have enough structural integrity to screw into?
ОтветитьThis stuff (and similar) is great for smoothing out layer lines on 3d prints.
ОтветитьDoes this ACCEPT stain afterwards or do you have to premix the stain?
ОтветитьThis is SUCH a WONDERFUL VIDEO. Thank you! I have my TIMBERMATE and will apply FIRST & do the Red Mahogany stain after a light sand. I'm repairing dog scratches on a 12' slider and this is PERFECT.
ОтветитьI put Timber Mate on a White Oak floor and it turned black. Why did this happen?
ОтветитьCan you use the Timbermate WHITE for tinting instead of Timbermate Neutral/Tint.
What would be the difference?
I love Timbermate. Great grain filler and woodfiller. All the woodworkers I know use
it. It behaves like clay in every way, EXCEPT it doesn't shrink. After you sand, you can put the shavings back in the pot and
it turns back into the original product--just like clay. This former
potter says, it looks like clay, it behaves like clay except for shrinkage, could it not be
clay? I wish I knew. Whatever it is, I love it and wish ALL the box stores carried it in the U.S.
Can you add Minwax water based stain to Timbermate to color it?
ОтветитьThis stuff looks amazing, can't believe I didn't know of it before - I love that it's water based and comes pre-tinted, going to make repairing my guitar a snap.
ОтветитьGreat video
Ответитьi'm doing a live edge table and was wondering if i can add oil based stain after application?
ОтветитьGonna use this for my guitar build
ОтветитьWhats the maximum thickness this can be applied. Fixing a stair thread, started with bondo considering using this instead
