You are right in many things dear! Howeber I dont think leaving all of my social medias is an option cause the 90% of my friends are online cause I live far away from them and I work at home hehe😅

I likely stay off an just clean or read a book or draw etc it actually makes me feel better in life because I literally felted bored irl an online but I'm finding other ways to make me none bored and I didn't when on a Xbox for while now but I do miss my loving caring friends tho 😭

I do agree with her points, but for a disabled person like me and the present day we live in plus so much more in my life- discord and messaging has allowed me to get to talk with friends I don’t get to see.

Den, your video was fantastic. What I am about to say is true. I have NEVER downloaded Facebook, Twitter, or any of the "social media" on my phone. In fact, I went 2 years without even looking at Facebook on my PC. I am a believer that phones are for phone calls. I don't chat with random people who try to solicit me, in fact, I block them. I take this view of online strangers, in that they are all out to get me. Ding Ding Ding Train gates coming down, NOPE! Not falling for it, my answer is, If I don't know you, I don't speak to you online at all! There...SAFE!

You hit it right on the head when you said that you don't need other people to validate you. So if I want to go to Walmart in my Yoda pants and someone doesn't like it, too bad! 8 hours and 45 mins is my daily average screen time this week, but during the summer is was more like 10-11 hours.

Honestly, I've found that social media doesn't do much. I love talking to people so much more. I deliberately wait until the next hang out with friends and put about two weeks in between so we have something to talk about during our hang outs. It's so great.

I have a handful of people that only reach out to me through facebook messanger, but that's acceptable, because it's more like texting than real social media.
