I notice the same when Gandalf tells the fellowship what the balrog is, specifically when he says “Run!”

That ring is clever, it's clearly enticing and fanning everyone's emotions

Say what you want of Dwarves, Gimli is the only one in the company there, and Dwarves the only race, who just got up and tried to destroy the thing then and there, completely unswayed by its evil or mental twisting.

I have a question. On the 4k version of these movies on the Middle Earth 6 Disc 25th Anniversary Edition, is there any extra dialogue in it? Someone did a review on these DVDs, and they mentioned that in the council of Elrond, Elrond mentions, "Nine companions to match the nine Ringwraiths" and in Moria when Gandalf talks about Dwarrowdelf, Gimli replies, "Amazing!" as examples of extended dialogue in the movies. But I cannot find anything else stating these were added into the 25th edition. The edition is $200 which is why I haven't bought it yet to see if it's true.

20 years ago I watched this in an AMC theatre. This film has aged remarkably well- some show - and can we all take a minute to acknowledge Hugo Weaving and Ian Mckellans performances
Yesterday, I recovered my fathers original 1977 illustrated print of the hobbit....and now here I am, 1 am watching Middle Earth clips

The beginning of this scene has some of the best audio I've ever heard in a movie. Imagine hearing this with a proper surround speaker system.
