Why is all about Buddy I mean Buddha? Wasn't he the first that got enlightened? If yes: How did he know about enlightenment, what it was, or that he reached it? And if he was not: Then what was so special about HIM? Just crossed my mind...

I agree with a lot of the Buddhas teachings. But living your life with no desires is very strange no? Like you would not becoming anything. No money to survive. I kinda want to live that way. But I feel like you'd just be homeless...

On a similar context, in Catholicism my professor told us that Charity is higher than Adoration. If we're fasting for our faith and someone offered their time and energy or food then it is better to give in and acknowledge their kindness. 😊

Asceticisim and hedonism are both extremes on the spectrum of desire. Both can be irrational desires/attachments. Jedi do not form these attachments. Desire unbalances you. Submit only to the will of the Force.

then you might have to let go of the desire to let go, like embrace / be at peace with your clinging, thank it for wherever it has lead you so far, and will lead you in the future, hopefully to its own overcoming ^^

I'm pretty sure that he just came to the conclusion that enlightment is just sitting under the shade of a tree enjoying some rice pudding. The ability to just sit and enjoy the moment without the pursuit of some higher thinking. Enlightenment is finding and living in those rice pudding moments.

Step 1: Create a beautiful work of art, it has to be perfect, you will have to hone your skills to a razor's edge and master many talents to achieve this. Step 2: Realize that it still didn't bring you enlightenment. Step 3: Destroy the work of art.

It’s funny because that’s how it somewhat happened to me. Hearing the news of my friends deaths in a hit and run accident made my depression worse. I was at the brink of suicide and not caring about myself or my physical state anymore. Any little thing would’ve certainly drove me the edge. I would think about everything I was learning about from reading, school, and what I would hear from some videos on here. And then one day, something clicked that it was almost as if I had seen answers to things I never thought I had questions about. Slowly I started to recover and have almost recovered entirely. I feel as if I have been set free from crowd mentality and have been thinking about what I will do in my life. It’s a slightly daunting but it’s the experience in between that I’m looking forward too

Knowing a lot about Buddhism is completely different from following it. Some people describe Buddhism as they are the inventors of Buddhism.

Buddha also had released all his Hindu teachings of the palace that were within him during this long fasting, regurgitated them, regurgitated his own self experience, let go of life itself during his long fasting and at that point of eating once again he become one with the creator inside once again like a child taking his first taste of his mothers breast milk.
That is the point of being reborn again. The info he had released now makes more sense to himself also, the Hindu stories come alive, the breath is more powerful and now he has the inner power to create his own understanding to share with the people of the earth, those that couldn’t read or write so well, those who couldn’t find the literature of the Hindu scriptures as easily as he did. This is then his power to give back and create The Four Noble Truths. Buddha and others the modern day enlightened men like OSHO take themselves apart and reorganise the parts for others to see clearer those past teachings with new eyes ✨☯️✨🕉️✨☪️✨🙏🏻✨

Let go of Buddhism. The let go of the egotistical path of "self enlightenment". It is just another type of bondage to samsara. Be in Jesus, the true and only way of letting your ego die. The true and only way to gain enlightenment. Verify it in the Torah and the new testament for yourself first.

This isn't true. After he starved to the point of death he started eating and built up his body as a normal person and did meditation. The day he become enlightened was given the rice pudding by that girl who had a desire of wanting to assist a person who is trying achieve enlightment and he put the plate to the river and asked from the mother nature if I become the buddha today this plate will float to the opposite direction of the river and it happened and he confirmed it and kept concentrating on meditation and after that he become enlightened. He was already in good condition when that girl gives that pudding.

Don't spread lies.

Matters concerning this world can be approached physically, like reading literary masterpieces in the library, visiting cultural or natural sites, museums or beautiful buildings, or contemplating great Art.

But 1. the details of the unfathomable unknown past, where historic and archeological evidences are insufficient,
and
2. the afterlife - Where do living beings go after they die? Do they go to bliss or torment?

are the two major subjects of a Buddhist enlightenment (วิชชา3).

Physically, it is only a sitting, but spiritually, speaking of the development of the meditative intuition, it is not quite easy.

bro this guy is throwing huge lies , this thing about the rice pudding is true but he accepts it because the girl made it with effort just for him and it's a bad thing to refuse then after eating he realises that he can't attain enlightenment by just making his body suffer and starts to follow "the middle way" and after a long time he attains enlightenment by conquering many things , this guy is talking pure bullshit

The last thing you give up is the illusion of being a separate entity looking for or wanting to attain anything. Desires still arise after enlightenment, but they are no longer felt as personal desires.
