Beautiful. I was born in Paris, and grew up there until my 16. I never felt comfortable and myself in the big cities. But then with my mom we found a house, our DREAM house situated in the french countryside. And from the first time I knew that i belonged there !
A beautiful garden wish a pond a fishes. Strawberries, apple, tomatoes, carrots and so much more. Waking up and watching the sunrise just behind the field with our neighbor's horses.

This is beautiful. I also want to move to the rural area, not now, but when I'm ready, it could take 5 or even 10 years laters, until then, i will do my best in this familiar busy environment. When I'm ready, I'm ready.

It’s so beautiful in Germany, actually most anywhere in Europe is simply breathtaking. And for me, it’s mainly because of the architecture.. It’s wonderful how the architecture styles and nature blend so well together in harmony. Even in the big cities, you can find beautiful architecture anywhere. Where I’m from, there’s mainly high rise buildings and glass skyscrapers which you can find anywhere in the world so it’s nothing special to me. In Europe, each country have their own distinct styles and character; you can tell Netherlands architecture style from Italys, etc. Of course each city have borrowed from other countries, so they can somehow look similar just as how modern cities can look similar to each other; nonetheless, I will always prefer historical European cities over modern cities.

I am from the countryside but I did move to the big city for 5 years in my late twenties! I feel blessed to have those 5 years in the big city because I met people from all over the world, tried different foods from all over the world, went to the theatre, went to the coffee shop on sunday! It made me so much more open to foreigners and other cultures, it definately made me a better person but I am more used to rural lifestyle, I never got used to the noise and crowds but the city was a great experiance and I will treasure that experiance forever.
I think it's just what you are used to, I think I can't judge which is better because I wasn't raised in the big city.

So einen großen Garten zu haben ist schon sehr, sehr schön! Das war schon immer mein Traum gewesen! Ich wohne mit meinem Mann und meinen 5 Kindern in einem Reihenhaus. Da haben wir einen ziemlich kleinen Garten. Aber Dank deiner Videos werde ich dieses Jahr versuchen mein Gemüse und Obst in Hochbeeten zu pflanzen und den Platz in dem kleinen Garten so gut es geht dafür nutzen.

Ich würde mein Haus auch niemals gegen eine Wohnung eintauschen! Du hast recht, in einem Haus ist viel mehr Arbeit, aber es gibt viel mehr Vorteile in einem Haus zu leben, als in einer kleinen Wohnung!

When I am feeling depressed I find it helpful also to look around and be grateful for all that I have. I find it best to get out of my head and busy doing something, preferably outside. It is winter here in Canada and I am finding it hard to keep positive when it is too cold and way too much snow to go outside. It has been a long winter. I woke up this morning with the thought that I am empty inside. I felt like a hollow shell. So I started cleaning and that helped me to get away from the negative thoughts.

I currently live in the city but I think about moving to the country every week if not every day! Both are wonderful and have their pros and cons. Your country life seems quite beautiful but so did your city life. 💗

Unfortunately, wood fire places releases many pollutants into the environment. I suggest investing in a high efficient one run on biofuel or electric
