This is such a helpful video for me right now, I’m trying to figure out how I could reposition things in my bedroom for better feng shui and with 4 active doors in the oddly shaped room there’s only one way I could position the bed to not be facing a door and it feels worse than the only other way to position it, which has my feet facing the outside door and my head facing north with a cabinet above my head💀
It’s just not meant to be a bedroom in the first place so I have to make do

I hate beds against walls. Fixing the bed is just awkward and I don’t like being smack up against the wall when sleeping. Not to mention now if my husband was in the bed with me, one of us would be smushed against the wall😢

Why not turn the bed sideways?

I fully respect that you are an expert but having two lamps on one side of the bed just feels so wasteful because only one of them is ever required and the other one will just collect dust.
Can't they just get one lamp with a design that "maintains the feeling of parity and love"?

Problem is that the plus socket that's now behind the second bed board may be the only one in the room 🤷‍♀️

How do you put the fitted sheet over the mattress with the bed stuck in the corner

Honestly, i dont understand why partners need their bed in the middle of the room. Its always felt so.. impersonal to me? If that makes sense? Like, it takes a room that should be a comfortable place to hang out and rest to a place only for sleeping and dressing. Maybe its my experiences with parents who hated each other but still. I dont mind having to climb over someone/someone climbing over me if it means the bed is much more cozy

Still no space for wardrobes, and only drawers for one person, so do you buy the house next door too?

If you’re single and have one of these bedrooms, how does having a bunk bed and only using the top work in the scheme of things? Like you have the top as a bunk and the bottom as some sort of office space, how would that affect the mentality to arranging the room?

The problem could also be due to the power plug is against the wall. Pushing the bed over, blocks the power plug acess

Feng Shui! The art of emprisoning your partner against the wall to make sure they can never go pee at night. Also make sure they have no lights nothing to drop a book or glasses. Best is just to keep your partner chained in the basement so you get the entire bed for yourself. Feng Shui cares about room aestetic not quality of life.

My take is that the door is hinged on the wrong side. Should be swinging into the nearest wall so it’s flowing into the larger space.

..... but how do you change the sheets if the bed is in the corner?

This man is why my roommate and I manage to live in peace in a studio apartment. A few curtains to make my area feel like my own room and block the view of the front door. A well placed shelf or two. And using a lazy boy bed chair instead of a bed allows for more room because it folds into a chair or lies flat into a bed, allowing both sides of his bed to be accessible when we have guests over. And or can put a few chairs against the air conditioning for more sit space that still faces our entertainment center with plenty of walking room for flow.

I always have the bed in the corner. I just crawl over my fiance or to the foot of the bed.

Why not just angle the bed a bit?

I know nothing about feng shui but I would have turned the bed clockwise so that the head of the bed was on the same wall as the door... that's probably not very feng shui but it would provide more space on either side of the bed than the current configuration. Go for very petite night tables instead of chunky cubes.

I think a great merch idea would be life sized lamps that look like these screws

Quick suggestion for the partner who sleeps up against the wall: install a shallow shelf on the wall for your phone/alarm clock/nightlight. Or you can even use Velcro to stick your shit directly to the wall lol.

I jump into bed. If this was our setup im sure my partner would want me to sit by the wall. Ill have no issues still jumping in but thats prob going to the biggest complaint of this setup

There is absolutely 0 scientific evidence to support Feng Shui. This guy is just making a career off of being an annoying grifter.

As someone who’s been single all my life, I always shove my bed against the wall. Makes me feel secure to have my back against it when I sleep, and it always gives me more space to use my room for other stuff
