When you spoke of "dialectical evolution", I believe the standard linguistic term for what you meant is "dialectual evolution". My friend the BirdDog, a major fan of y'all's, likes your version better, though; I suppose he feels that dictionaries should include a secondary definition of "dialectical" as a synonym of "dialectual"! Fine distinctions are going out of style, and nuance is moribund. I still notice these things, but I cannot afford to deeply care about them anymore. Ever since they took “literally” away from me, … sigh

Ci sono stata per tre anni alle cinque terre. È tutto piccolino, c'è un trenino che va e viene per fare tutti i quattro paesini . È praticamente tutto sotterraneo, e si ferma ad ogni paese. Tutto caratteristico e stretto. In Liguria le vigne sono state rubate alla montagna, costruendo le famose terrazze. Infatti in questa zona le alluvioni hanno distrutto tutto perché in queste strettoie non ha sfogo l'acqua. Io ero a Monterosso che è l'unico paese che ha un po' dì spiaggia. Altrimenti sono scogli.

I wish 'we' didn't plough thru other people on our way to enjoy the views - it's so rude - you shove yourself into small spaces where other people are in the way - and force everybody to step aside. - or is it just me that always worries about other people being there first ? Do you do this just because you are filming or are you always that rude ?
