Have you ever needed a quilt on short notice.😬Well here is a quit that you can make in a day, start to finish. With all the pieces in this quilt it looks like it takes a lot longer.
ОтветитьI am a beginner and would love to make this but I need it to be a little bigger... How would i figure how many more blocks to make?
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! Thank you. I love fat quarter too!😅
ОтветитьThe smile did me in
ОтветитьWhere can I download the pattern
ОтветитьThis looks fun!
ОтветитьI am going to make this quilt tomorrow...loving the tutorial and it is perfect for a NEW quilter, like ME!
ОтветитьOK, so what if you’re such a beginner that you don’t know what value or saturation means?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this video and pattern, Karen. It was perfect for some Fat Quarters that I've been wanting to piece for awhile. I also find that tape makes the best sewing ledge, thanks for the reminder! I'm so grateful for your content, thank you <3
ОтветитьI’ve never made a quilt and I’m an absolute beginner. I bought a bunch of 9in squares from Etsy that I’m not sure how to use, can I just start with those? I think they were fat quarters that I requested be precut from the seller. I will have to research values since I have no idea what that even means. Im looking for my first EASY quilt project!
ОтветитьStash busters are good, that's all I have to work with is donated fabric from others
ОтветитьThis is great, thank you.
ОтветитьI can't figure out which way I'm supposed to press the seams after the attaching the first round of pairs together. Anybody have any idea?
ОтветитьI love your stash buster quilt videos! I keep rewatching all of them. I have already made one of your quilt patterns and have started two more. I am looking forward to more of your stash buster videos.
ОтветитьJust finished one of these made out of 108 blocks with about 20 different prints😃! Currently making another one with fewer prints. Lovely project for when you need a little mindlessness.
ОтветитьI love your channel but PLEASE don’t add the background music!! It is so annoying
ОтветитьThis is an older video so you might not see my question ... but I'll try.
I love the ideas here. I tried the waivy line across the quilt diagonally. Since I was quilting from one side to the other, everything got a bit skewed and the quilt ended up not very squared up. In the future I could go back and forth in different directions - not always going from left to right.. But I wondered if you had any other thoughts or tips on how to keep from skewing the quilt.
I think I did enough pinning. Maybe I missed some signs along the way that my quilt was getting skewed and maybe I could have corrected it.
I just stumbled upon your channel. Where have you been all my life? I love your designs and your methods. Where did you get the hanging mat that you stick blocks on it when you are laying out your pattern?
Thank you and keep up the creativity juices flowing.
What a great way to make a baby quilt as a gift…..& it’s fast! 🥰👍☕️🍩
ОтветитьLove how quickly this quilt went together! Thank you.
ОтветитьI love this quilt idea. My only problem is in your step by step process. Once you align the squares, then you have us cut a section off the right, then do another on the left. then what? You said to do the rest like that, which one? You forgot to say, that two sets of 8 could be one way, the other two sets the other. That step was dropped in your tutorial. All you said was to do the rest like that, which one? I messed up a lot of fabric trying to do this, and it was very frustrating when they didn't line up for the final cut, because there were three sets one way, and one the other. I do love your ideas. I just thought you may want to rethink this one, and adjust it.
ОтветитьQuilt In A Day is a registered trademark. Have you cleared your use of it with the company? And Eleanor Burns is the mother of us all. She single handedly revolutionized quilting for all of us, and I for one will not see her disrespected.
ОтветитьI've re-watched all your stash busters. Will you be making a new one this year?
ОтветитьOooh as a beginner I wish you would’ve talked more about the backside 😢
ОтветитьLove you stash busters…It hard for me to stay focused so easy and quick is perfect for me.😊
ОтветитьIt is helpful to learn about choosing a taupe or neutral border, especially when using fat quarters from older collections, or from your stash. Your quilt looked wonderful with the the taupe and striped binding, and really showcased how it frames the quilt (as you said). Every time I watch I pick up on something else. Thank you!
ОтветитьI appreciate the video. I had to come back to it several times when I got confused on how to turn the squares! Thanks so much!! 8>)
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьKaren- you are an inspiration!!
ОтветитьToo chatty. Just looking for quilting information
ОтветитьI absolutely love everything about this quilt! For now I am working with precuts, the thought of cutting pieces any larger than a five inch square is a skill I'm building up. Knowing there are quilts designed to use fat quarters makes me excited to work towards one. :)
ОтветитьWhere is that fabric from? Love it!
ОтветитьHi Karen, My "stash" is not fabric, but clothing that's shoved away somewhere. Is it possible to use clothing to make quilts? Please advise. I have a soft bathrobe of mine that I am saving to make a baby blanket for my first grandchild when I get the news.
ОтветитьLove you stach buster small quilts, I have a lot of 10 inch and charms I want to get them used up and donat them to charity so will be looking for more of your ideas. So glad I found your videos keep keep them coming
ОтветитьP.S. I have subscribed!😁
ОтветитьYou are so delightful! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьI have to write you and tell you that I enjoy your videos immensely. I have totally uncluttered my sewing room and my stash I have met my goals thanks to you. God Bless you and yours and keep on posting !!
Ответитьwhat about the back?
ОтветитьI watched your video, but can't grasp the dollar store wall design. I can rearrange, but what keeps the squares on the other fabric?
ОтветитьT.Y. 🥰🤗
ОтветитьOh great! This can be done with a layer cake!🥳
ОтветитьLoved this video.
ОтветитьJust being sure that you know Quilt in a Day is trademarked, and that you give Eleanor Burns credit for inventing the concept and entire method.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI do really enjoy your stash buster quilts. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьI am going to have to slow you down lady because I am having trouble following as I am new at this……
ОтветитьI am so happy to have found your channel my dear, you rock!
ОтветитьMy grandpa was a carpenter and he always said that, measure twice…. 😊
ОтветитьI have spent days laying out my blocks!!! Random is not easy for me.😁 The quilt turned out great.
ОтветитьI always like your videos
