I got tje 64 in late 1999, but i played ther ever loving crap out of it. I dont think that any game console can ever blow my mind away like seeing mario jump out that pipe in 3D

The N64 had a monster library, and for my money edged out the PS1 in that respect. Mario 64, Goldeneye, Smash Bros., the Zelda entries, Mario Kart, Pokemon Snap, Star Fox, Paper Mario, Banjo Kazooie. Just stellar.

As for the Mortal Combat title not being able to fit the FMV on the cart all I can say is, Angel Studio Resident Evil 2.

The devs of Superman blaming the "Limitations" of the N64 is just passing the blame for their own issues. When you look at what was accomplished by many other DEVs on the console their talents allowed them to pull off some amazing feats. You can even look at what the speedrunning community pulled off with their Ocarina of Time "Triforce percent" run where they injected code into the N64 through controller inputs to program in entire new sequences into the game on the fly. Including never before seen things (for the N64) like cell shaded graphics live at SGDQ 2022. Rather than blame the console just say that they didn't have the time or the skill required.
