We phased out all our Shopping campaigns and switched over to P.Max campaigns. Based on your advice in this video, you suggest using a Shopping campaign for re-targeting to complement the PMax campaign. As we currently have 4 P.Max campaigns, 1 for each major collection / product type. Does that mean we would need to set up a 4 shopping campaigns, 1 to complement each P.Max campaign?

ОтветитьI understand that the audience you give as a signal. What about retargeting? Do Pmax campaigns actually retarget to the audience you give them as a signal? It would be interesting to learn the best way to do retargeting with Search and pmax. I used to do retargeting using display campaigns, but I stopped as they tend to underperform. Someone said that Pmax accomplish also rretargeting as smart shopping campaigns used to.

Mobile phones
Smartwatches
Vacuum Cleaners
Mobile Accessories
Watches
Tablets
many more
All the above categories with Different brands so I am a bit confused to Start the P=max campaign structure, Should I Go with Brand wise Pmax campaign or a Categories wise Pmax Campaign?
If I Go with Category wise how can I create creative assest? for example - I do have different brand Watches, so should I create all separate brand-wise watch assets in the Category pmax campaign?

ОтветитьHi Aaron. It's been recommended in the past, for local lead gen, starting with a search campaign and then scaling with a P-Max when you can leverage the data.
This video suggests a P-Max may be viable on cold audiences. For local lead gen, will a P-Max work on cold audiences? Or would you still opt for the former method?
On a side note, starting with a P-Max seems eerily similar to Facebook Ads Power 5 (minimalist campaign structure using open/broad targeting mixed with Dynamic Creatives and focusing more on eROAS/MER) with its 'perceived' front-end downside of the algorithm taking some time to get decent results.
