I plant lemons from seed for fun (I know they won't fruit) and I peel the entire outer skin off the seed and they germinate really quick.

What type of vegetable or fruit plant is that. I found lots of them in a plastic in my mom's cupboard. I tried to find it through Google lens, but the search shows some sea creatures,l😅 Can you tell me what seed is that. I assume it's Ash gourd seeds, but they, too, have different shape.

A nother option is to Soak the seed overnight. The seeds that flow in the morning are bad ones and the ones that sink at the bottom are healthy ones. This will also soften the shell so it'll burst out quicker.❤

its ok, however squash coat is not thick so it can grow event without cutting. However the cut can facilitate the emerge though compared to no cuts.
