In Theo they finally found a character who could challenge Eloise and make her grow as a character. Truly if they allow this to simply pass as a mere footnote they are sacrificing what could be a goldmine of a storyline! Elopement, social class, women's rights in early 19th century Britain, and how those who are proponents of "true love" are truly tested when that love is between Eloise and someone who works for a living vs the nobility... the possibilities are endless. Benedict as well is involved with women from the working classes so he especially should understand what she is experiencing.

I like Eloise in book and in Netflix Adoption. I hope Netflix won't change her characteristic in her own series. I hate it that they make Anthony looks like he fell in love with Siena Rosso (originally Maria Rosso) in the series at season 1. When in the book she was just some acquaintance he had probably slept with and Kate is the only woman he fell in love with.
