I come back to this trailer every few weeks and feel more and more underwhelmed each time I watch it. Was expecting something fast paced, new weapons, new environments being teased... this looks generic, almost pointless even. The same experience can be achieved in the previous 3 games. I'm sure there's much more to be revealed but this feels rushed out despite how much time they've had since they announced they were restarting production with Retro Studios.

... Not much to get excited by here other than the trailers existence though is there, nothing particularly cool got shown here other than sylux which you only have investment in if you played hunters

I will absolutely purchase because I love metroid and because I want to still support this game despite the fact that Im hoping to be able to pirate it and upscale or add some graphics mods because while this looks to be visually better than the original that released in 2002 it only looks slightly better than that same game ran on an emulator with minimal upscaling and performance increases... Plus I hate the switch 🤣

When the first Metroid released I was 6 years old and watched my big bro play it, I was hooked. I beat super Metroid multiple times and crowned it the greatest of all times until I played Metroid Prime. I have been waiting for Prime 4 for years. Let's f'ng go!

I first played Metroid Prime on the Wii Trilogy version. Prime 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games of all time. I gotta be honest though, this trailer is pretty lame. Like, we've waited for years and this is the best they can come up with? It looks just like Prime 3 and maybe worse.

Let's over-analyze:
The symbol behind the title is like black hole spacetime curvature.
Now I want this beautiful natural world to be in orbit around a black hole and you can see it in the sky, Interstellar style.
