5 years ago; a lot happened since.
As someone involved in political advocacy for 3 generations, I know loyalty does matter- to PRINCIPLE. Politicians can- & nearly always do- let you down in this. Trump certainly did in 2020; he surrendered any conservatism to authoritarianism, allowing a bureaucrat to utterly destroy our economy with lockdowns that had already proven ineffective in Italy & elsewhere in Europe. Trump then spent trillion of our grandchildren's money trying to undo the damage he did, even funding efforts that ended up beating him and many in the GOP at the polls.
2020 broke Trump; it broke many others. Loyalty to principle requires us to see that and move forward with no excuses.
