True chads only settle in the cannibal plains
ОтветитьI like how right after talking about meat, you put up a screenshot that includes your outpost named Arby's
ОтветитьI tend to play as Skeletons... So.. The rain part is not an issue.. My very first playthrough was as a Skeleton funny enough. I eventually settled in that place not even knowing about the acid rain till a little later.. Its way more of a bonus if you play as Skeletons only like I did that time over any other group but I can see how some people might see that as cheating a bit. ( I also made my Skeleton into a Ninja/shinobi and went around recruiting other Skeletons making them also Ninja/Shinobi.. lol So.. Yea more than one cheesy play by me straight away.. To be fair I did not know anything about Kenshi when I started it and just gravitated to those choices. Because I tend to like stealth in the first place when playing games, even when its not as useful compared to other things, and I also tend to like specific aesthetics more than others. The Skeletons fit that better than the others.. I was fine with their negatives for what they gained. )
ОтветитьBURNING FOREST BURNING FOREST BURNING FOREST
ОтветитьIf you are unsure what location to do next, I could really go for "Should You Settle Arach? | Kenshi Location Guide". After going there the first time I can recommend it for it's beautiful landscapes, and passive wildlife.
ОтветитьI love this game so much. It was such a nice surprise. Looked rough around the edges initially but upon putting in a few hours I become addicted! Im looking forward to Kenshi 2 and will probably do a new playthrough of the original.
ОтветитьIt has been awhile, but one of my favorite base spots was located just north of the ghost village in Northern Coast. Also Darkfinger has a few good locations as well, but I prefer the Northern Coast because it is close to Worlds End, the Fishing Village, and Flotsam Village. Also west of the Fishing Village has no taxes or prayer day, but east of it does have prayer day. I have not tried Hidden Forest, but there seems to be a few decent spots in the northern parts of it, but the raid map makes it looks like it could see both taxes and prayer day in parts of it.
I also really like the Forbidden Isle as well, if you kill a certain character the iron spiders change to Garru and Goats. So it depends on what local loot you want if you want to do that or not. Just make sure to come equipped for acid rain.
I remember tryingnto set up a base in the islands east of unired cities desert and beimg absolutelt butchered bya building-sized crab...
ОтветитьYou settled in Kenshi's middle east, you should have expected NOTHING but trouble! The fact that you even have walls is a Kenshi wonder of the world.
Ответитьunwanted zone? You mean AUSTRALIA?
Ответитьif you have combat ability to live in unwanted zone you can live in gut or souther place has high quality mines it's simply as it's name.
ОтветитьAshland guide next or cheaters run maybe ?
ОтветитьI settled in vains western river to train on gorrilios and infinite food without fear of attack
ОтветитьPeople will tell you The Friend Zone doesn’t exist but they won’t mention that there is also The Unwanted Zone
ОтветитьNice video, makes great background noise while playing a game.
ОтветитьCould you do a vid on ashlands? I've always wanted to set up there.
Ответитьnext to the best iron deposites in game, also stay in the beak thing nest, blue zone, very good protection, taxman gets borked off by friendly beak things, I killed 2 nests and they stopped attacking me, maybe I culled the species, its south of all the best trading posts too bonus
ОтветитьCan you do the shrieking forest next?
Ответитьdon't worry I know you just want that late game middle east oil buff
ОтветитьDo the Ashlands plz.
ОтветитьIs there any chance of a shrieking forest location video.
ОтветитьI mean if you do settle there you could call yourself the Unwanted and what's more badass than that?
Ответитьfog islands a little northeast of mongrel large area above the fog lots of copper iron and stone. it's perfect.
ОтветитьLove the sense of humor, thank you based algorythm.
Ответитьthe only time i have ever been there i wandered in not knowing anything about the place and strangely nothing was spawning. i walked to almost the middle of the whole zone when suddenly i was completely surrounded by beak things and i almost didnt make it back out
ОтветитьNo Holy Nation preachers godbothering at your door? Shame...if you tell them to fug off, they send goons to burn you down. Goons which your defenses are fully justified in killing in self-defense. Goons they pull from existing garrisons. Goons which are limited, and yet do not stop coming until there are no men left to send. Goons that are then not present to protect the Holy Nation from other countries. Goons which eventually include their generals and champions.
Ya pickin' up what I'm puttin' down? I'm saying the Okranites will bleed themselves white trying to kill you (probably because their king is an insane senile moron), thus ensuring their own destruction. You can kill the HN, without lifting a finger...by turtling up.
I love Kenshi. It's creator is a genius.
I had a unlucky save and spawned in said zone
ОтветитьThere's a spot on the border of The Crags/The Pits, once you find it you'll have an awesome endgame base location. Would make for a great video with how many different enemies you get to fight there, 200% metals, good water but no fertility so its either hydroponics or skeleton base. With both dust storms and acid rain there are decisions you'll have to make in terms of gearing your people and for me in a Holy Nation aligned run it's a great place to hide a skeleton army.
ОтветитьGlad to see kenshi real estate is still booming, even after the apocalypse
ОтветитьYeah but the rainwater everywhere else in the world is perfectly safe especially places like India and China
ОтветитьPah! You’ve avoided politics for too long! Review the political shitshow of Bast and see how you fair being surrounded by hordes of people all trying to kill each other all at once.
ОтветитьYouve made a factual error in this vid. You say that the skin bandits sre skeletons, but they are very visibly, clearly, humans. They even say so.
Ответитьone interesting place to make a base that is very easily overlooked is the islands directly west of the iron trail. the unmarked "zone" only has a very poor iron deposit and wind as resources so at a glance it looks like a terrible place to make a base. however seemingly unique to my knowledge is that at least at default faction relations literally nothing hostile will ever show up and the only visitors that will show up is hive and nomad traders that can provide otherwise missing resources. may be worth a short video if only due to unusualness of not having to worry about any hostiles.
ОтветитьCompletely unrelated but a must have mod I use is better smiths of kenshi, it makes it so that other craftsmen have a chance to sell weapons with higher qualities never enough to to exceed anything edge walker does but enough to match it so you can actually use the hidden buffs from smith to smith, like how catun weapons do mor blunt damage, I forget the percentage but check it out it’s awesome for role play and themed play throughs
Ответитьthe home of all middle children
ОтветитьYou know looking back, I'm shocked no one is doing a Kenshi mod for CK3, Mount and Blade, or Total War.
ОтветитьI love these videos. Cant wait until the inevitable ashlands base video
ОтветитьThe unwanted zone also has a great use in the form of luring nobles into it and then being not responsible for their mishaps
ОтветитьI am familiar with the unwanted zone as I live in New Jersey, no skeletons or bugmen here though
Ответитьye forgot to mention the shek eat meat
ОтветитьYou’re doing Okrans work sir! 🫡
ОтветитьStarted playing Kenshi a week ago
First time I go outside my confort zone outside the great desert
Enters the unwanted zone
Me: hm, I wonder why it's called the unwanted zone
Gets butchered by a horde of beak things
Me: I see
The Shek people will make a great offering to the purported son of Kral by making a holy march into the shrine named Arbys in the Unwanted Lands
ОтветитьSorry, but any region with Beakthing inside of it is just a big no for me
ОтветитьBro its kenshi content. Agggghhhh we eatin good
ОтветитьHell yeah gaming
Ответитьdo shun next, most neglected region in the game.
ОтветитьI settled there and its amazing. Although raid could not survive gettin to my base lol
Ответить
