Factory records made a big mistake when they decided not to buy a Fairlight CMI 2. They still did very well but it allowed ZTT to get the edge for quite a while. Mind you at £30k it wasn't a cheap investment even by todays standards!

Long time ago, in other eons, you could hear Yello and Art Of Noise everywhere, as long as you knew it and kept attention... I never lost that
