How to Fix Reused Content Monetization and Beat The AI

Pixabay and other sites provide royalty free images and videos. If you used a copyright free video, but put original music over it would you get flagged for reused content (assuming other creators possibly used the same video)?

We are going through this exact situation right now. Got the reused content demonitization cleaned up videos that we thought were being flagged. Reapplied and denied. Waited 3 months, reapplied and denied. Did that ridiculous appeal video and got denied again and basically got that same message. So so frustrated right now 😫

How's it going...great vid subbed and liked definitely taking notes. Quick question..i was demonitized few months back...removed vids i thought was the the problem. Remonitized last sunday....demonitized again today for reused content. Is it what i posted this week or did aI pick something from older vids..its a new world lol be safe and ill be checking out your other vids..

Ps I meant to say it was me applying for monetization and got the reuse reply. I appealed it. Denial was they don't know it's me making the videos. I'm going to have to reapply because there is no way to reply or edit the appeal. I should have in part, showed my computer screen editing etc. So instead of sending a quick video showing it is my work, I have to reapply all over again after June 3rd.
So at least one of the things I'm going to do is add a channel trailer with me in it. Maybe editing all thumbnails and adding a handful of new videos from my own gardens with rain.

Sorry if you mentioned it, did you change up thumbnails? I thought of editing all to have a little wording on them. Not sure if it would help but maybe.

Watching this now. I’m in a very very similar situation. I’ve never ever reused copy pasted ever. I’d already appealed and got denied. They didn’t give any way to reply. I believe the only option is to reapply which I can in under a week.
Again, I have never reused. I am licensed and/or filmed from my own garden.
Checking your video out now, they don't tell what Is it exactly that's supposed reuse but it must not realize people can be licensed.

I also have taken many new videos and I thought about posting many new videos to shove down my previous videos, adding subtitles as I don't have them ln all because being a faceless channel. I'm even using my own sound on the new ones because sometimes I mix sounds with licenses for the tracks from websites like Canva and Epidemic Sound. Like you mentioned talk about this whole issue making me paranoid, overthinking and it's a holiday weekend that I just have had no motivation. This all really kicked my motivation. Your video is the first I finally came across that talks about the what-ifs. I could simply just stop but that’s too easy to just give up. So I have to try at least once more. I could be wrong but they recently changed the rules where if I get denied on this second try, that I then can't reapply for 90 days. With that span of time I really don't know if I'd try again. So we’ll see! Even if I get denied your encouraging words really helped my motivation. Thank you!😊 I'll let you know either way.

Someone once said there's if fine line between genius and insanity. When dealing with artificial intelligence, whether robotic or human, one might do well to step back and forth over that fine line to explore what each side has to offer.

Steve, my perception is, you have mastered that concept. I knew you were working hard with a methodical approach to solve this issue. I had no idea how hard and methodically you had been working at it.

This video reveals quite a lot about the Steve Mack approach and reinforces my initial assessment of your mind power from our first encounter years ago via technology half a world away.

I truly hope this video helps many people because I know that is your primary motivation in making it. I know in my heart that views and monetary benefits are always secondary when you make a video like this. In that sense, it's not unlike your many other how-to videos.
