Shout-out to everyone who has showed this project love! (including J-Will himself) It was an honor to help tell the story of one of my favorites and dive into his impact on the game.⚪🍫
Ответитьwhite chocolaaaate!
ОтветитьWill the Real Jay Will Please Stand Up , Please Stand Up !!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThank you for the hard work behind this detailed documentary and sharing with us Jason Williams story as a new fan 👍 what a fantastic player
ОтветитьVery well written
ОтветитьOut of all the shit in the world, weed has ruined more athletes careers. Weed!!!!! This drug is now legal, but it has kids suspended and pros fined. Weed!!!!! Thats Bullshit!!!
ОтветитьHe should be put in the NBA Fame cause he changed the game, same as Chris Webber
ОтветитьWe used to got to Lamppost Pizza to watch the games. Everybody watched the games to see what White Chocolate would do. He was like a basketball child prodigy back then.
ОтветитьI suppose that my 5 years in federal prison, where I heard " white boy" more than my own name, would make me immune to the blatant racism of the tag "white chocolate." But it doesn't.
ОтветитьOff court issues? He likes to smoke weed? Is only an issue to the moral busybodies who obsess about what people do in their PRIVATE time! A healthy herb probably helps his game. Hey Jason, tell all these punks to f off!
ОтветитьPlease, tell me who is the singer at 8.33 minute?
ОтветитьJust learned something new. Was'nt aware he won a chip too. Great video my guy
ОтветитьI have to disagree. I think william IS one of the best point guards to ever play the game.
ОтветитьI'm glad he won a chip.
Ответитьpoor teddy dupay, shoulda sparked one up instead of betting😢
ОтветитьWilliams/Moss couldnt be stopped. All of us in WV Appalachia were rooting for those good ol boys. Very cool times.
ОтветитьWith that miami ring, his career is better than some of the ringless stars tbh. He made basketball fun to watch with his pass first mentality, fast pace play and all the dazzling acrobatic magic plays😁
ОтветитьHe may never be considered one of the greatest point guards, but he’s without a doubt one of if not the greatest passing point guards. He made passes people had never seen before and some that haven’t been seen since.
ОтветитьI got fired for cannabis and I’m paraplegic
ОтветитьI'm from Memphis. All I remember about him is when he yelled at Geoff Calkins during an interview
ОтветитьDude was insanely jaw dropping. I can watch his highlights, all day.
ОтветитьHe was sick with it...bad news
ОтветитьI was flattered you replied to my comment yesterday. So happy that I discovered your channel. Your videos are such a good mixture of storytelling, statistics and emotions. So well researched, formulated and put together. I hope you’re doing well with your content and can make a living with it because you deserve it brother.
Ответитьhe def should be in the hall of fame. super famous in basketball circles
ОтветитьLoved his overall game and impact on the style of the NBA and the new version of point guard. Flashback to Maravich. He was fast and had incredible endurance which caused havoc to others defense. He ran and entire game. Thanks for letting us watch his greatness!
ОтветитьGreat documentary definitely classic NBA player in great background music definitely can relate. Cause I know these songs also perfect.
ОтветитьI grew up next this dude. He deserves everything he has, he busted his ass.
Ответить"White Chocolate" Jason Williams.
# NBA drafted - 1st round, 7th overall pick by the Sacramento Kings, 1998.
# 12 NBA seasons. Representing 4 NBA teams; Sacramento Kings (1998-2001), Memphis Grizzlies (2001-2005 & 2011), Miami Heat (2005-2008) &
Orlando Magic (2009-2011).
# NBA league champion: 2006 (Miami Heat).
# NBA All-Rookie First Team: 1999.
NOTES:
Williams' nickname "White Chocolate" was started in Williams' rookie year by Stephanie Shepherd, a media relations assistant with the Sacramento Kings.
"I came up with that name because of his style", Shepard said. "He has flash and pizazz. The way he does things with the ball is incredible to me.
It reminds me of, like, schoolyard street ball when I go to Chicago."
Shaquille O'neal mentioned in his autobiography that Jason Williams with him in there Miami Heat days togheter was very posetive.
Shaq refered to him that he was "one of my guys". They are still very good friends.
'drug problem...' what a joke
ОтветитьWhiteChocolate used to ball
ОтветитьBest of the best ever legendary 🙌 🥰🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍹
ОтветитьWell said. Dig the video. J Will is a legend. Nice shout out
ОтветитьDamn I miss you bro. People like me, as well as others thought “us against the world “ and I’m not talking about certain teams you were on. I’m talking about you! If you weren’t “ride or die”, for your success, I wasn’t listening. Miss you bro and I hope you are well!
ОтветитьThank you J Will for decades of inspiration
ОтветитьI soooo miss THIS team.
