you should be very carful with the pink princess. EXPENSIVE PLANT ALERT!! a small 3 in pot can go for upwards of $30. very recently it was one of the most sought after and talked about plants, and it could go for hundreds of dollars. unfortunately many people found that the variegation is unstable and you need to give it a lot of care or you will end up with just maroon leaves. a specimen with the variegation of yours is very special. please take care of your new baby. I am very jealous.

The pot w/ the amaryllis & ivy is an interesting container. But the grid addition creates such interest of its own w/ the little buds along each branch. Really pretty!

Is there a drainage hole in the oblong cement vessel that you planted the amaryllis in? (the one with the bows and garland). Can you plant them in a vessel that does not have a drainage hole?

Did you have to sanitize the container that had spider mites you planted amaryllis in? Also, what do you do with the bulbs after they've bloomed? Can you save for next year?

Oh my gosh I love everyone one of those plants! I like the look of the moss but I always get little gnats when I have a plant with it. Why is that?

When growing orchids I always put a coffee filter in the bottom to hold the mix in the container. Consequently I've carried that over to houseplants so the soil doesn't wash out the drain hole....

This was so much fun! The kids are adorable! I love how you incorporated the stems into the amaryllis! And I just placed an order (the day of this video) to Little Prince and received the plants a few days later! I ordered through your link and the plants arrived just like you said, all wrapped up, heat pad and all! I was very impressed and the plants are beautiful! I plan to give some as a gift. I find plants need water more often when placed in terracotta pots due to evaporation through the pores of the terracotta.

Love this video so much!It all just felt extra charming from start to finish/could have watched another hour…I had pussy willows years ago and stuck the trimmings in the ground and they DID sprout roots and thrive. Looking forward to amaryllis blooms; fun that your sister is going to give it a go😊

Hi love seeing the children taking in the shopping your plant haul was a good one. Those amaryllis gorgeous colors to choose from. My amaryllis only flower once when I buy them and after that just the leaves. I live in the Caribbean where its sunny all year except for rainy days. Thanks for sharing

Video suggestion: could you post a video on how to re-stake a huge pothos? The stake in my 3 year old plant broke at soil level and I need to add an additional or change out the current stake…and that will lead to pruning, repotting, etc😳😬! Thank you for all that you and your family/friends do!!

That was a Calathea Musaica and I rescued one from someone on FB that was struggling and now it's huge!! By far one of my favorite plants! My understanding is its Trademarked so no propagating it.
