I saw Nile on the tour for this album with Hammoura on drums. That was one hell of a bill - Nile/Gorguts/Vader/God Dethroned/Diabolic if I recall correctly (was around 1998). Gorguts had just released Obscura ... Nile, God Dethroned and Diabolic were relative newcomers at the time. Every band absolutely ruled.

Thank you for doing a deep Nile cut that only the true old-school guys know about. I honestly prefer this era of Nile over anything they’ve done in recent years. Nephren-Ka and the early albums had this unmatched horror atmosphere to them, that I don’t think the band ever replicated.
