What an amazing Documentary. For a guy like me who comes from an urban are in a small island and has lived in Florida nearly 2 decades to finally get a true perspective of where those great cuts of beef come from is amazing. The science, the business, the LEVEL of education these farmers have I mean these folks are CEO's, CIO's and CFO's all in ONE.
ОтветитьPeople who live in town their whole lives have no idea what it takes to take an animal from birth to plate. Or from chicken egg to plate or milk from cow to glass. I have worked from 100 cow dairy to 1500 cow dairy. A couple actually processed their milk for sales in stores and else where. I have worked small ranch farm operations to large farms to large ranches. As a farm and ranch hand i was available all hours of day and night 7 days a week. Farmers and ranchers sweat bleed and cry for their operations. Families on these operations are very tuned in to what is needed to be done. I get off work after 10 12 14 hour day and the owners and foeman's are still working.
ОтветитьGOD GAVE ANIMALS FOR MANS USE!
ОтветитьYou may have, "learned a lot", but you didn't share any technical details of raising cattle!
ОтветитьAnother great video from the Angus people. I see you've got your priorities right, thanking The Lord before cutting into those beautiful steaks. May God richly bless you both on your journey.
ОтветитьThe wife is constantly complaining or worried about killing animals.
ОтветитьIt looks a bit different in the netflix doc called cowspiracy

ОтветитьHmmm, they should’ve let them be there for the killing part. I think that’s suspicious. Moral of the story, I’m going vegan.

ОтветитьSomething that surprised me during this video was seeing people who are involved with raising beef who seem not to know about The Carnivore Diet. Some fairly overweight folks apparently drinking sugary drinks and eating less-than-optimal foods. Of course, this was done 5 years ago, so maybe they've discovered the proper human diet by now. 😄

What an amazing documentary. I like cheeseburgers even more now that I know where they com from.
ОтветитьIf you ever worked on a feed lot you would see mega wrong doing, I did it for 5 years but grass feed beef with rotational grazing regenerating the land, there is nothing wrong with that, the animals have a great life eating natural foods and one bad day. Half of the food grown today are fed unnaturally to cows on feedlots, many of those cows get sick or die of bloat because they are not meant to eat grain, silage and other crops. 50,000 or 100,000 cows on 5 or 10 acres of ground is unnatural where as on a ranch they will have 5 - 100 acres per cow! My friend died of lung failure after working at the feedlot for 10 years, I got cancer after the crop dusters flying over head while I was working. The guy says he can't see the difference between a cow raised on his uncles farm and one for the feed lot, ones raised naturally one force feed stuff they can not digest and would never eat in nature!
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful documentary, from start to finish, very informative.
