ОтветитьCurtis is the real MVP

Ответитьas someone who lives in Colorado I love this
ОтветитьThis episode reminds me of Sheldon Cooper and the good old days of watching big bang theory in college ❤
Ответитьnext time your should include pricing because i’m curious about ticket and food prices
ОтветитьLove this! If you guys ever go to the UK Glasgow -> Fort William, Oban or Mallaig, it's stunning.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this video! Cannot even explain the excitement I got seeing the notification that you’d posted 🥰
…And I feel a bit validated that I’m not the only one who’s been binging travel and train journey videos 😂 I love Kara and Nate’s content!
i feel like i only see people on businesses trips or small trips on amtrak and i had no idea people took vacations just for them. then again i always just have a coach seat so makes sense lol
ОтветитьI’ve been watching you since buzzfeed💜and this has been deffinetly one of my favourite videos🤗🥰 just here to say whenever you are doubting yourself, from someone that has been watching you for years and more to come, you are doing great💖
Ответитьthis is wild to me because i take the amtrak to and from college all the time and it’s cool seeing safiya in the galesburg station where i always am
ОтветитьNot common at all for train compartments to have a section that includes a private toilet and sink, thats new. Excited for trains series with Saf and Tyler 🚆 Shower Caps were meant for trains, so funny when your rooting for Saf to get her hair wet 😆😂
ОтветитьThe Glacier Express in Switzerland is one of the most beautiful train rides in the Swiss Alps. The train goes from St. Moritz to Zermatt. I can really recommend this trip.
Ответитьa 7-day trip across the whoooole Russia will be so cool! the train goes from Moscow to Vladivostok and you switch between 6 time zones on the way!
ОтветитьI love how Safiyas videos are so unapologetically about stuff she likes. Weird hotels, celebrity chefs restaurants and now trains. Makes you wonder what comes next x3
ОтветитьIs anyone else wildly impressed by Safiya and her team's time management and planning skills? She's always filming like 3 videos simultaneously and milking the content at every place. Awesome video as always! 🩵
ОтветитьI've had it with of all these motherf*cking snakes on this motherf*cking train!
Ответитьcoloradons mooning people from their kayaks is the most colorado thing you can do😭
ОтветитьSafiya's channel is just spot on. From fashion in the last video to trains this time around—what will she surprise us with next week? The unpredictability is what makes her channel so engaging ! Saf listing all these fantastic themed train experiences and then dropping the bomb with "even Canadian trains!" accompanied by a picture of a Via Rail train had me in stitches. My grandparents rode this back in the 80s or 90s, heading the opposite way with San Francisco as their final destination. They even had a close call in Salt Lake City, almost missing the train. Since my grandpa passed away last year, my grandma has been reminiscing and expressing a desire to take the train again. I'll definitely be showing her this video to reignite that excitement for train travel!
ОтветитьThe grandpa was making a joke aboit how raw your steak was. That you can hear it moo
Ответитьgod i love the train
ОтветитьPlease please do the Alaska amtrak!!!! Its absolutely BEAUTIFUL! it's on my bucket list along with the one in Switzerland
Ответитьanyone remember this train from SATC? pimple carrie and existential crisis samantha.
Ответитьwatching this video being named zephyr is an odd experience
ОтветитьThe stop in Salt Lake gave me... major flashbacks. I used to pick my ex up at 3am at that same exact station because she insisted on only ever taking the Amtrak
ОтветитьI really want them to take a Japanese train next
ОтветитьSAF PLS DO A VIDEO ON COMBINING EVERY CHRISTMAS COOKIE INTO ONE FRANKENSTEIN COOKIE
Ответитьwhy is that $2000
ОтветитьThis was fun to watch, but it definitely confirmed my fear, trains are tooooo tight for me! I'd have a panic attack within the first 5 minutes lol
ОтветитьI’m from reno originally. You didn’t miss anything lol
ОтветитьI took an Amtrak this past spring and as much as I was looking forward to the experience, I doubt I’d take one again. I was in the regular cabin one way and tried two different sleepers on the way back home. I was extremely uncomfortable that there was zero security or bag checks at the station as well as on the trains. We had an incident with a passenger causing a disturbance in the middle of the night that was very scary. We didn’t have an observation car for half of the trip sadly. There was also a strong sewage smell for most of our 6 day total ride. The bathrooms in the regular cabin cars were not attended to at all. And the seating was incredibly uncomfortable especially if you’re staying overnight.
The sleeper car was of course much more comfortable but our meals weren’t nearly as nice as Safs for some reason. They were very small portions of frozen microwaveable meals served right out of the plastic dish.
Maybe the route I took isn’t as funded?? For the price I just don’t think it’s for me :(( Im so happy to read about everyone’s good experiences and want to support train travel but it’s seems the US is so behind 😭
If you are ever planning to visit Australia, the India pacific is a luxury trans-continental train that goes from Perth to Sydney in a whopping 13 days across the nullaboor plane. definitely a bucket list item for me.
ОтветитьPlease do more trains, I'd love for this to become a series
Ответитьayee it’s slc baby
ОтветитьMy grandmother used to take this train from Lincoln to visit us in Berkeley, California most summers when I was a kid. She was also a painter and would paint quick little watercolors studies and sell them on the train, often earning enough to pay for her fare. I am also a painter and I like to show these studies to my watercolor students. It still blows my mind that she was able to capture the fleeting landscapes as well as she did with just a few simple strokes. Also good choice to start at the Emeryville stop. Most of the train station buildings are now abandoned, at least in California. You have to buy your ticket online and and wait next to the now empty station building. Too bad if you need to use the bathroom. Fortunately most stops have working electric signs and audio announcements with expected train arrivals and delays.
ОтветитьCan you please go on the Hello Kitty train next?🙏🏼 I'm disabled and will never be able to afford to go on the hello kitty train, but I know you and Tyler would make it an amazing video like always. Y'all make it feel like we're right there with you.🫶🏼
Ответитьi live near an amtrak station and i heard their horn while i was watching this video!
ОтветитьJapanese trains are brolic
ОтветитьWhat matters most?
The beautiful moment that we create.
Venice Simplon Orient Express!!
ОтветитьHey Safiya! I live in Grand Junction, Colorado and have rode Amtrak a couple times across the state. It’s such a breathtaking view and I’m so glad you were able to have this experience! The stop in Grand Junction actually has a restaurant called Pufferbelly Station and it has windows where you can watch the Amtrak trains arrive outside. It’s my family’s favorite breakfast place and you get plates full of amazing food. Also, next door to that station stands the original station and it’s where my grandpa worked as a special agent for the railroad. It’s boarded up now but it holds lots of great memories for my family. I’m glad you have great memories here too. Anyway, safe travels in the future and thanks for visiting! 😊 Hope to see you back here soon when you have more than 10 minutes. 😅
ОтветитьFun fact: "Kraft" is a German word for a company from Germany and means strength.
ОтветитьWell this convinced me never to take a cross country train ride lmao
ОтветитьTake the train to Savanah Georgia or to New Orleans. I enjoyed this video I have been wanting to go on a train for a long time, haven’t done it yet.
ОтветитьYou should try to the greyhound bus then you’ll get left behind if your one second late 😂😂😂
Ответить
