"Its really not a lot of stuff"
At 29th week now with my first baby. Thank you for such a wonderful informative video. All other videos I saw had too many things. This one makes so much more sense
ОтветитьDo the hospitals in the US give You those for free? Here i'm Argentina they do hace stuff but theyll Charge one when parients are discharged
ОтветитьI had an SCH at 10 weeks for this pregnancy. I'm now 31 weeks and my little guy is transverse lying and loving it, he's wedged so far in my pelvis that my uterus is irritable. My OB said he should flip by my next appointment, but I think he's going to call her bluff 😅. I just wanted to say I'm so thankful for your videos, I swear you experience things before me just to help me get through them ❤
ОтветитьI love this! So simple and realistic! Thank you for sharing what the hospital may provide and what you’d recommend taking.
ОтветитьWow your hospital sounds nice. Mine (I am in Canada Ontario not sure if it same with every hospital) the hospital near me did not have wipes for baby, didn’t have pump or at least they said I don’t need it when I requested it even though my baby was in nico the first day. Didn’t even let me take baby blanket and they asked me to leave it.
ОтветитьAlso remember: every hospital is different! It’s always great to call in advance and ask them what they provide and what they don’t so (hopefully) you can prepare. My hospital didn’t provide toothbrushes or other toiletries but they DID have a charger I could use, go figure! Also, MOST hospitals provide diapers and wipes but I have heard some people say their hospital didn’t provide those things and they had to have their own.
ОтветитьI am almost 35 weeks pregnant with my first child, and this video was extremely insightful, because I was kind of stressing about what to pack. Other than mine and my husbands toiletries, changes of clothes for us, the onesie we want the baby to wear home, our phone chargers, and some on the road snacks, we may just do like you and let me rely mostly on the hospital for the stuff I will need
ОтветитьI am new to your channel but really like the content thanks for sharing
ОтветитьHi.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this ❤️
ОтветитьI'm 23 days away from my third scheduled c section and I will be taking the bare essentials like charger and snacks. I always just wear the hospital gown and enjoy not changing too much. They already have everything for baby and I only pack a going home outfit and save all my essentials for home. I also bring an extra blanket. Keep it simple and you won't risk leaving anything or stressing about what you may forgot.
ОтветитьThe hospitals in my country give you nothing.
ОтветитьDo we need to pack things for our partner? Hahah I’m serious
ОтветитьI live an hour and a half away from my house so definitely have to pack a little more this trip than my last pregnancy 😂 we also ended up staying in the hospital over a week last time. Hopefully this time is much smoother so I can get in and out
ОтветитьI had a c section and still had vag bleeding after recovery oil felt sooo cold in my room and it was end of July! Next time I’m bringing a robe and my own blanket
ОтветитьAm I the only guy who watches this video to write down the checklist for my wife? lol.
Ответитьimagine if the hospital stoped doing these free things and you didened have anything
ОтветитьLove your video. Thanks for not being so extra!!! I was keeping it really minimal this time too. My surprise 2nd is coming in two weeks!!
ОтветитьGreat video! I’m the same with labor and delivery. Every time, I’ve only packed what little I needed. No need to pack a ton of stuff you don’t need! 😁
ОтветитьThis was the most comforting hospital bag video ever
ОтветитьYour chill perspective was super helpful! People make way too big a deal about this on the internet and it can stress you out as a new mom. But it’s truly not a big deal. My hospital is 15 minutes away, local roads. Worse case scenario hubby goes home to get anything we need.
Ответитьi think it depends on your hospital and you need to get a list from them of what they provide and what to pack because my hospital; in canada does not provide much and if they do, it is very reluctantly.
ОтветитьHow old are you?
ОтветитьBest video I've seen all these girls packing up like they're traveling for a whole month hahahha
ОтветитьYou appear to be a white 20 ish years old male. I don't believe that you are pregnant. Possibly a tumor. From my plain view.
ОтветитьThis was so helpful. Thank you! It never crossed my mind (new mom here) that the hospital would have so much stuff.
ОтветитьI heard hospital pillow is very uncomfortable and idk if they provide blankets?
Youd probably need to bring toiletries, no?
This baby I’m bringing dermaplast! And nail clippers for baby. My hospital didn’t give me dermaplast and they didn’t have any nail files. I’m also bringing a comb for the contractions to squeeze in my hand to help mange the pajn.
ОтветитьDefinitely worth bringing your breastfeeding pillow. If I bring nothing this second pregnancy, I'm 100% bringing that!!! Your in so much pain down there. You need the support from the breastfeeding pillow to help you get the baby in a good position for feeding. I requested like 9 pillows try to support me and my baby but that didn't help like my breastfeeding pillow did. Make sure your breastfeeding pillow has good support and isn't one of those that's just stuffing and no foam. That's if you want to have a successful time breastfeeding without putting your groin in more pain than it will already be in.
TMI warning, but trying to sit up straight to support the baby for feeding just pulled my stitches and hurt so so so bad. My pillow allows me to lay back but keeps the baby in a good position so that I don't have to sit up straight. I hope this helps someone....
Thank you for making a realistic video! ❤️
ОтветитьThis video was super helpful! Would you be open to us sending you our all natural pain relieving body balm for a review? They help you find relief without NSAIDS, lidocaine, preservatives, or steroids! Please let us know if you are interested 💚
ОтветитьCurrently packing mine at the last minute for schedule c section on 12/21. I’m always last minute with bag packing 😂. This was helpful!
ОтветитьCosign! also an OBGYN on her second baby. Though I DO love the adult diapers over the mesh underwear in the hospital.
ОтветитьHey queen nice video very nice ideas I didn't think about wearing black pj's and we two bags and a pillow as well I like extra pillows
ОтветитьJust the video a I needed! I’m a FTM and I was so overwhelmed with all these videos like I just wanted a simple video because I knew It didn’t make sense to bring so much stuff to the hospital. New subscriber !! 🫶🏻
ОтветитьThank you 🙏🏾
Ответить3rd time mom here, but it's been 8 yrs! This video was so helpful.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьHere in the U.K. we are told to “bring a nappy” (diaper) for the newborn straight after birth, and also a hat. The NHS is broke 😮 Times are hard…
ОтветитьThis is definitely so helpful!
ОтветитьCan I ask if it’s safe to use a griddle after a c-section ?
ОтветитьUnless you’re
Plus size…then their gowns don’t fit you. You’re forgetting plus size women.
Could you please provide the link for the breastfeeding pillow....thanks
ОтветитьI way over packed the first time. However, I was giving birth at the peak of the pandemic and my support person was not allowed to come and go, once you were there, you weren't leaving till you were discharged or your support person just couldn't reenter.
Ответить
