What is your problem with the VW ID.4? you guys have an irrational hate for an otherwise decent electric suv. Is it the fastest to 60 or while charging, no. Is it the cheapest amongst family-oriented A segment crossovers, no. But every single video you bash it. Here, “the Ariya doesn’t feel slow like the ID.4 does”, well gee guys they pull the same mid-seven second time, etc… I’m not an ID.4 owner, but give it a rest fellas. How about some well researched and planned content?

Secondly, I wanted to like the Ariya but ended up buying a Tesla Model X, certified pre-owned. The Ariya interior looks cheap, in real life, and the ride quality was weird. It just isn’t worth the money and the efficiency & charging stats are sub-par. The HUD was good. Very boring car.

Added plus: Tesla SuperCharger network.

Not good - charging per minute is the best way for EV owners and our advance to EV. Though - many people do not realize this.

Spacious interior but not much to get excited about, especially considering the price.

They probably don't have full one-pedal driving for liability reasons. One-pedal braking that a lot of EVs do is jarring to the person behind you. I've been behind a few EVs that do this and it's not with the flow of traffic at all

Price-wise, Hyundai shouldn't be your benchmark vs Nissan. Hyundai has always been a lower tier brand, for a different market. In exchange, the ownership experience is less predictable. Nissan is more comparable to Ford and Toyota, so that's a better price comparison

Love my Ariya. Had it since February, I don't feel it's expensive but I guess most do which Is fine. With the "expensive " cost and low production on them I love that I'm basically the only one with it. Only seem 1 other person with one.

I get compliments especially on the green color I got. Lady followed me in the grocery store to ask me about it a few months ago lol. Was charging next to an EQS SUV today and the girl asked to look inside it and liked my car and I got the number. 😊 Don't even need game with this car it speaks for itself 😅

Hope the raise the price or stop making them so I can continue my fun and being different than the tesla cars on the road. Having so much fun. Best car ever!

Drove one with the intent to maybe replace my 2021 Leaf with it. They’re okay. Too much superfluous “safety” stuff that drives the price tag way up. And they did away with the e-pedal and gave you e-step instead, which is basically a watered down version that allows the car to creep from a stop if you don’t use the brake pedal (makes it feel more like a “normal” car 🤷🏻‍♂️). Much to my surprise (and disappointment) I’m gonna pass on these and keep my Leaf

Man, Canada needs to up its game about EV chargers, this is so bad. Here in EU nations, its a breeze compared to what you guys have in Canada!

I’ve had the Kia ev6. It was awful. I have this Ariya now.. it’s also awful. I think I’m going back to ICE vehicles. 😂

Why put so many parts under the hood?😢, when it comes to the EV car, go for Tesla, it’s clean and much less parts than any other EV cars means almost don’t need maintenance like other cars

I'll always appreciate how well you guys show what you're talking about. When you mention the brake pedal moving by itself, my mind goes "oh oh oh lemme see lemme see" and ofc, a perfect StraightPipes clip demonstrating exactly what you guys were talking about comes next. Not just that, the touch screen issues, the rocking back and forth, you guys always do such a great job putting your thoughts to reality. Feel like sometimes it goes unnoticed, I really appreciate it!
