Obviously Brezza looks Sturdy, bigger, boxy and well proportionate car and thus defines a proper compact SUV, while Exter is just a bit bulkier hatchback and this very difference easily eliminates the features that exter is equipped with.

I got average 17.7 kmpl (on mid) mileage over 19000km over 11 months and 18 days on all conditions, weather, terrain and driving pattern.

Features to aajkal ki necessity hai, warna sunroof wali cars ki demand nahi hoti, brezza LXI lene se better hai small car, waise brezza ke looks aur size exter se better hain aur space bhi milega.. features to retrofit ho jate hain ( halanki uski bhi cost 1.5 lakh Tak ja sakti hai without sunroof) . Confusion bana rhega😄

It makes more sense to choose Exter compared to Brezza in this situation.

The analysis is good but the problem is that lower variants can be personalized to an extent while the dimensions can never be changed. So, by getting segment below car, you may get feature rich variant but lose out on practical aspects like space, boot, etc. However, analysis with respect to B2 vs C1 segment may be more relevant than this one as let's say between a Kylaq and Kushaq, one may not lose out much on practical bit and features.

Brezza pros-
- The music system in Brezza is AMAZING! I felt like it had a subwoofer but it did not. The bass was so well handled by the speakers.
-Arkamys in Brezza sounds better, especially the acoustic preset
- It is the more reliable car and has better mileage.
-Looks much better. Looks perfect.

Exter pros-
- Much cheaper
- Much much more comfortable seats. Hyundai has the best Ergonomic seats for the driver and has no stress on the spine. Brezza's seat has disappointing ergonomics due to soft cushion. It will give spine issues over time.

For , I will choose Exter because I love my spine 😢

All these features except sunroof can be retrofitted in Brezza through urbano edition and showroom fitment with Maruti accessories. Brezza engine wise is way better than exter. Sorry do not agree with this comparison

Driving experience is priceless and cannot be exchanged with fancy gadgets. I had zeroed in on buying an Exter, then my cousin purchased one and drove it a lot. Then I drove the Brazzaville. I have made peace with the seldom used features and chose the bigger car with better handling and confidence inspiring drive and bought one.

Exter cannot be compared with brezza. Brezza is higher segment car and conclusions cannot be based on feature list in a car.

I would like an explainer on how you decide perceived cost of performance, size and features. Cost of ownership is straight forward but perceived cost seems highly subjective. Are you generalizing the drivers to city commuters? Different people have different use cases and based on which, value will differ. If I want a car for italian job then I will have more value of small size of BMC mini than RR Phantom. I mean, I came across this very dilemma between Punch and Brezza. After TD, no amount of electrical gadgets will match the roomy feeling I got. May be if they give some VR headsets, but no. TLDR, all comparisions are vague till you explain method of arriving at perceived value of performance, size and features.
