can I use it as a plugin with Ableton ?
Ответитьsurely it's "Mooog" not "Moge" ?
ОтветитьI recently purchased the Subsequent 25 and use it in addition to my Matriarch. It’s a great synth for anyone who’s first trying out an analog synth, and all the way to more experienced synth users looking for new synth voices to add to their setup. Hats off to Moog for making this one for sure.
ОтветитьIt's mooooog not mouge ffs
ОтветитьHasn't it arpeggiator?
ОтветитьMenu diving without a menu. Nope
ОтветитьSurely it wouldn't be hard for an OS update to allow a simple Arp and extra 16 patch spaces with those 8 buttons? i.e. press and hold a bank button, so it blinks to access another 4 sounds. and a few multiple bank/patch buttons to active ARP modes with 1 - 4 being UP/DOWN/Random etc
ОтветитьHonestly one of the most attractive things about this is the size. I’m an artist moving into a mobile camper recording studio for touring and obviously mobile recording. I’m going to miss my Subsequent 37, which has always been my main synth, as well as my vintage Crumar Performer, but this is incredible because it’s most of the Sub 37 but just way smaller. I couldn’t bring my sub 37 with me in the camper, so I tried a prophet rev2, but that’s a bit big also, and it just isn’t a Moog. The Sub 25 is absolutely perfect.
ОтветитьI laughed a lot about the " if you don't like your neighbours" section! Thx !! 😅😅 Great review, very usefull.
ОтветитьMarketing it as a duophonic but doesn’t even have a dedicated button for that? That’s kind of a strange choice if you ask me.
ОтветитьIs duophonic and polyphonic the same thing?
ОтветитьWhat I don’t like about 25 is that it’s small but very heavy. I can’t find a decent place to put it.
ОтветитьGreat job showing the broad range of sounds and very nice demo noodles.
ОтветитьHate that white panel at the back.
ОтветитьPlease we need build in sequencer
ОтветитьThis is the demo that this synth needed. Every other one I’ve seen is way too focused on aggressive sounds, but this is such a great mix.
ОтветитьI like this and the subsequent 37 but this one is less cluttered and more approachable.
ОтветитьDon't hate your neighbor, love thy neighbor ;)
Ответитьwell, im getting this.
ОтветитьMy first synth... It won't let you down, especially if you are a fan of Tame Impala or some Mac Demarco stuff (On The Level etc). It can do anything from aggressive fuzzy but not mudy sounds to atherial like sounds.
ОтветитьTried to look at the synth but that left hand ring is fucking cool, actually her whole style is sick
ОтветитьI had a Sub Phatty, sold recently, but man, I'll never buy a Moog synth again! I respect Moog's history and sound but nowadays there's many control quality issues. The day I sold the Sub Phatty, after taking the dust cover to experiment if everything was ok I notice the side panels were all sticky and melting?? What kind of rubber/plastic are they using?? So I had to cut the price, then the buyer notice one octave selector was not working, so I cut the price again! Since I bought the Sub Phatty (new) it was always at home and with dust cover, no direct sunlight, room temperature with small variation, so I don't understand a product that is made in USA?
Ah, and this is not a one case problem, they all have these problems sooner or later, well this new one with wood panels will not have the melting problem for sure.
I just want cheap synths now!
I had to decide between this and the Grandmother. I chose the Grandmother for the sound arp, seq and the patch-points. I think the 25 is just a tad over-priced for what it is. Still a sweet synth though. But the Grandmother is AMAZING!
ОтветитьSpend the extra 100$ or so. Get a grandmother. Thank me later.
ОтветитьNice synth! I dig it! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
ОтветитьWish Moog would have ditched the keyboard and made this a desktop module. Thus slightly less expensive.
As is, it's about $100 CDN cheaper than the Grandmother... decisions, decisions.
Looking forward to some comparison vid's. Might have to flip a coin, in the end.
Welcome Bach TAL!
ОтветитьThis product makes no sense. If you want a Moog, the supposed Rolls Royce of synths, why would you want a really shitty, basic one? Either get a Sub 37 or Re-Issue D or just get a Behringer D or Poly D - this thing makes no logical or financial sense...for probably 50% extra than the Poly D, you're getting half as much Moog style synth....I would just save up for the Subsequent 37, but if I absolutely could not afford it,I would rather take the 4 osc. 37 key Poly D with its chorus, distortion, stereo output and chord mode than this 2osc 25 key mono synth, which is basically Moog's attempt at a more basic Novation Bass Station or Minibrute in a severely cut down Sub37 style package... Sad thing is if you want to be a brand snob you can write "made with a real analogue Moog" on any track you made with this, but a 250 bucks Behringer D will sound more like a proper, classic, vintage, phat, creamy, 3 oscillator Moog...
Ответитьbutton is pronounced “but-ton” with a def emphasis on pronouncing the “T”
ОтветитьWho in there right mind would get this over the grandmother
ОтветитьDoes Natalie have her own original music online? Loved these jams and would love to hear more!
ОтветитьIm not a synth guru by any means. But i just expected more from moog. This certainly doesnt blow me away as other products have as of recent. The demo was great i thought. Well played and explained. But this is the best moog can do?
ОтветитьThe synth sounds great, but her voice is too quiet. Is she mic'd? Her level is a bit too low.
ОтветитьShe hates menu diving. Have her do a detailed review of the Korg Wavestate. On shrooms.
ОтветитьSo it's just a sub phatty with wood on the side.
ОтветитьFinally a Moog i can afford! Some day...
ОтветитьI have a Sub Phatty and I HATE not having a screen and constantly lugg around that edit sheet. Luckily I also have a Sub 37 for crazy sounds and I just use the Sub Phatty for standard lead sounds.
ОтветитьThis is a stellar option for those looking to spend less on a Moog. The quality is unparalleled. Great first Moog for beginners. Until you have it, you just don’t get it.
ОтветитьAnything she demo’s I’m going to watch and like...she can demo a tin can with a spoon...LIKE! 😉
ОтветитьNo sequencer
ОтветитьSo basically Moog subphatty but duophonic (paraphonic). Gotcha. I'll keep my Subphatty. They should've added an arpeggiator.
ОтветитьWhich Looper are you using? Thanks!
ОтветитьRIP Sub Phatty
Ответитьstill prefer roland's ju06. love my ju06.
ОтветитьHey! An idea: could you please leave links to the item page in the description? I’d love to know this is too expensive for my broke ass right away ♥️
Ответитьприкольный звук
