Such a rare talent… not only was he a beautiful singer and songwriter but, also a great entertainer and whistler!… his whistling talent was undeniable and so layered!… very difficult to be sure!

Anyone think he's a racist twit?

I'm not sure if it was this particular clip or not, but one day, I decided that I wanted to hear one of his songs. I found a clip of him where he does "Change Lip" Turns out that I was at this CONCERT!!! 1976!! And the young lady that posted the video was at the concert too!!!! I wrote t. o her and she told me that she was sitting in the front row, wearing a red sweater. She told me that there was a DVD of the concert out! I got one!!

I was brought upon Rodger whittaker and still think he has the best voice in the world and is an amazing talent.

I did some work in this man's house, he is genuinely a nice man and so is his wife. I helped restore his staircase and I could hear him often around the house whistling like different types of birds.

I liked him even before he was gay.

After hearing Roger live as a child I began whistling. Got told to "take that whistle outside" many times. Unfortunately I gave up my whistling....

I thought that The Last Farewell was one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

However, it looks like his concerts were a damn good time.
