An excellent video of my home city ! I loved that you showed parts of Melbourne from on the Yarra River. It is lovely to enjoy a longer trip on a sunny day, down the river and out to Docklands and Port Phillip Bay, even over to the other side of the Bay where I live.

Thanks for a great review..I agree with Melbourne having great coffee in so many cafes, all with slightly different tastes. But all good. The free Trams make it easy to get around the city. Interesting to know that in 1880s Melbourne was one of the Richest cities it the world per capita, because of all the gold being found in Ballarat, Bendigo and other towns.

It makes me happy that you see Melbourne while the weather is nice. So many visitors seem to catch Melbourne with its pants down - crappy weather - but it is my favorite city. Alina reminds me of Mina from Twice and that's not a bad thing at all.

Actually seriously there are such great college universities in Asia.I studied in one of them too.

By comparison there are places like this in KL and Melaka in Malaysia,much lower in price with huge variety.I have been to such places already.There is an island of only bicycles only.

I bet it's no longer safe to take public transportation. Back in 2007-2008 I never had an awkward on uneasy feeling on any of the public transport - trams, busses, trains, etc. You could fall asleep and not have to worry about pick pockets or anything even remotely uncomfortable. But I bet now it's actually life-threatening to get on a tram.

My favourite thing about Melbourne is the stunning parks- the Botanical Gardens, Fitzroy Gardens, the Domain.. since you live SE Melbourne you should check out Cranbourne Botanical Gardens, it’s stunning Australian plants in great landscaping.

Chiming in from Perth and great to see Alina experiencing a small taste of Australia. Melbourne is a busy city so hope she gets a chance to explore a lot more of what Australia has to offer outside the big cities. I watched the "One Pack Wanderers" YT vlogging around Aust in their little car they bought (young couple from US) and they had such a blast and reckon you two would be awesome at doing the same thing in say a 4WD 120 Prado with a rooftop tent or towing a small campertrailer or even in say a Ford high roof Transit Van converted, but a 4WD would be more suitable for gravel & sand to reach those amazing places.
Hope you two can make it to the west coast one day

Was going to visit Melbourne this winter but had to put it on hold. I grew up in Perth and it's nice seeing how different other cities in Australia are. My friend drove around the country and said it was a must do. Anyway, nice Vlogs!
