i really like these tips , thanks i will try to implement them from now on
ОтветитьThank you!! A big part of it is also trying to make the class enjoyable without it being exhausting for any of the two parties... sometimes we as teachers can end up overwhelmed having to jazz up stuff, so it's important to find a balance :)
ОтветитьWth? There are thousands of way you can make you class fun, interesting and challenging. But you are suggesting us to make them down and let them thinking they can’t do anything. I’ll pass
ОтветитьHow you engage by saying ‘I don’t think you guys are smart enough to do this?’ That is very unprofessional
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьThe shittiest advice on how to make your class interesting.
ОтветитьHe is adorable!
Ответитьscrew u man lol ur working in HK or Beijing with kids that r immersed /exposed to english and you can converse and debate them in english...get outta here clown :D
ОтветитьIf I do that accidentally making a mistake thing the kids will just say:
This teacher doesn't know what she's doing, nope this isn't a gud one
Emotionally speaking, it is not a good idea to describe your students in this way - "I think you aren't smart enough.... " Some audacious students might show their anger in many ways. Other might believe what you are saying. I think this is not pedagogical at all. You may open your lesson with a brainteaser. It is engaging and challenging as well. You may use visual prompts to stir their curioslity and motivate them.
ОтветитьBut this could leave a negative impact on them to tell them that you do not trust them to do an activity or so .although your purpose is to challenge them but some hesitant and fragile students may believe that!
ОтветитьMay I link to your video for a grant project that I am doing for Texas A&M University, please? If so, how would you prefer it to be cited?
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 This is so funny! Definitely no joy factor there!🤔😱

Ответитьbe careful by saying " I think you guy's aren't smart ennough, you might start a rebellion in class... and that's very avoidable (depending on theyr ages)
ОтветитьI just am tired of learning. Like nobody likes it at all and honestly I think learning is pretty much torture. No offense!
ОтветитьFor SS i had a teacher who taught us events in history by making these choose your own adventure stories based off the events he'd teach us. He used google presentations to do so. Fun as f*ck.
Ответитьnice

ОтветитьI am form Algeria ✌😁.
ОтветитьI like this
ОтветитьThank You, I loved your video and editing skills, great presence, I know you are teaching younger children, yet still I believe it is important to tell you this as a student in high school who has had teachers do this to me when I was in fifth grade, I have to tell you for the students in your class who dislike it too, I really do not enjoy it, when you are underestimating your class I do not agree with this thought, as an actual student I can say you should NEVER compare your class to other classes, I highly disliked it when teachers compared our class to other classes, this did not make me want to try harder, it made me believe the teacher has favorites, and practiced favorisim which is proven to lower the self esteem and morale of children, thus I disliked the teacher. I believed that we as students were already trying our best and what we truly needed was a better teacher, trying to be the same as another class and spending more effort in class simply to get to someone elses level, does not sound like a class that is "fun", PLEASE, in the voice of most students who are not egotistic and need to feel smarter than the teacher to feel smart, WE DO NOT LOVE IT when you play dumb, it is very confusing for a student to know what you are doing, in fact I never heard of playing dumb to make your kids feel good about themselves, personally I always felt confused and concerned that the teacher did not know what he was teaching us, which made me quite bothered to think that he does not know what he is teaching than how possibly can he teach it to us, it also made me question if anything we were being taught was correct, I am sorry but making yourself the dumb one does not make the class fun, It makes me feel bad for the teacher when I see students giving them lessons, yes I do believe children should be treated the same as adults same rights, but I ALSO believe that the teacher should KNOW what he/she is teaching it makes me feel more secure with that teacher. I agree that students should know how to teach others what they are learning but you could just ask them to teach it or put it in their own words, I believe you are good teacher and I hope you keep teaching many children and have a positive impact, but I do not agree and know I am not the only student who feels this way, God bless your students, class, and teaching methods! Thank You!
Ответитьhmm that's great
