Hi, great video.

I tried to emulate your setup, with the only change to the actual version of LineageOS-20.
I used the ATV version, instead of the Android13 version. It is practically empty (only the FileManager app is present).
It does not allow the MindTheGapp package to work - It tells me that I should uninstall Google Play Store updates in the App in order to use Google Play Store - But there are no updates installe in the app. I might install some other apk installers of some sort.
I was not impressed by it, to be honest.

Do you think I should use your exact setup? What difference is there with Raspberry Pi OS?

Bottom line, I had a Raspberry Pi 4B coming my way and my son at Uni has a very slow Android embedded in his JVC TV - The plan was to send him and Meecool Android Box and me keeping the Raspberry pi here.
So far I did not have a good start towards to switch over - There is no way I can get rid of my Meecool box, even if it is, in itself quite slow, compared to a Beelink GT Pro I am using in the play room.

Hi ive just bought a rp4 4gb model from the pihut. i followed this video instructions and it doesnt boot, i get the colours on the screen and it just boot loops, ive tried the new bootloader from the rpi download. and it still does the same boot loop. i downloaded the raspberry pi os (32 and 64 bit) and they both work fine. i think its a problem with the start4.elf or the start4x.elf files? could these two files be out of date for the new pi4 model ?. has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?. thanks

Lee, another great Vid. My Android 13 install on a 64GB SanDisc flash drive lasted 10 restarts before it died. I've now got to running on the USB you use.. Should I do the G Parted repartition on a USB Drive?

Bro after i finished installing the gap thing (playstore) reboot the system, its keep rebooting for 30 minutes why did i made any mistake?

Hi. Try latest build with HW support. I can't boot on my pi400. I wonder what options in config.txt causing this. I did try to boot from usb and from microSD on pi400. A while ago I try to install android using pinn or berryboot and it worked. A little bit weird....

I wanted to use google assistant. Speaker and microphone do not work at the same time. Is there a way to use google assistant in linege os?

This is really good material. Thank you for your work. Would you be so kind and could you demonstrate, whether webcam microphone works under Google Meet (Lineage OS 20 Android 13)? If a person calls someone from Google Meet on Android 13 / Lineage OS (Raspberry Pi 4), it is not possible to hear that person. I tried different Lineage releases, various webcams, various communication tools (Google Meet, Google Duo, Zoom, WhatsApp, ...). Always getting the same problem. Interesting is, that it is possible to record audio messages using webcam microphone on this setup. It looks like many people have problem like this, so It would help many. Thanks.

Dual monitor support on Pi 400?

I install lineage 20 android 13 os. Twrp with nik gapps 13, now playstore not open. Showing error that, 'This version is not compatible with this device'

Yeay, I can add another thing to the list that did not work for me... it's a real shame. I keep trying stuff on the pi4 but even when carefully following the steps, it keeps kicking me in the face... maybe it's broken, I don't know.
It was really slugish, when booting into the device... "system ui not responding" slow keyboard response, etc
I have tried this with several SD cards (all good ones, sandisk extreme etc)
I am this close to buying a NUC :D
If anyone has some constructive ideas, I am all ears.

so I have android TV 12 on my pi 4 8gb got prime on there and apple TV+ none of whcih will play video but open fine.
how do you get streaming services like prime, apple tv+, netflix etc to work on this?

Followed all the steps put sd card into pi boot i get a teal circle going over an arc then a black screen i left it for about 30 minutes. any ideas?

With this Android 13 version My RPI 4B streams YT effortlessly (at 720p) but lacks audio, neither 3.5 or hdmi. No audio settings to be found either.

I tried it for a few days now. I love it. It just works. It works with my rev 1.1s and my later 8gb 1.4. It works on battery, overclocked, I was having trouble with over_voltage - overclock settings with Android 9. I had all the amps all the volts and could not get Android to work with wifi, powering a touchscreen, and 2-3 USBs populated. No more. 10, 11, 12 all seemed to have some issue or glitch for me that made it not worth it. Either with install or features. 13 is the new bar, and not only can I play GTA3, GTA3VC, and GTA3 SA. Smoothly nicely, (the android versions from GP store,) But I split the screen had Vice City on one side and Miami Vice the show playing on the other half. Not for long, but I did try it, and it did play both on a 1024x600 7" touchscreen with 8Bitdo controller. Pro tip, don't try to overclock the gpu with Android, it actually seems to slow things and then there's audio sync issues. Overclock 2225 and over_voltage of 13, seem to be happy settings for my particular later rev Pi4s, earlier Pi4s less on the OC but feel the same, not having them side by side. Very happy with this Android version.
