Sometimes analysis could disguise a stock as a value stock especially when you are considering only the PE ratio and maybe the book value of the stock. I've made some money during these analyses myself, but I still feel like something is missing. I'm starting the year with a 60k portfolio, but I want to tread carefully.
ОтветитьThe stock market has been on a tear over the last month on hopes for a dovish pivot from the Fed, but investors like me have seen this movie before whereby i'm left pondering if to sell off 30% of my $450k portfolio which comprised of plummeting stocks or hold on.
ОтветитьI would think that a major benefit of dividend investing is that calculating portfolio size needed is not relevant. We don't care about the value of the portfolio. We care about the sustainable income it pays. As you invest you can gradually see the income rise as you invest more and pull the retirement trigger when it's high enough regardless of the market sentiment.
ОтветитьI want to invest roughly $700,000 in stocks since I've heard that even in challenging times, investors may turn a profit. Any excellent ideas for stocks?.

ОтветитьDividends are a great thing, but they’re only really effective for passive income when you either have somewheres over 20 to 25 thousand shares of a high yielding stock. Meaning you likely need to have a few hundred thousand if not more invested in it. Re-investing dividends back into the same stock certainly does snowball with compound interest, but you only really start seeing it after 20 years of never stopping and likely needing to add additional money of your own with it….so it’ll be time consuming and costly. The way I see it if you have a million dollars at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50 to 70 thousand in dividend income
ОтветитьI’m in SCM and I love the monthly dividend of .1333
ОтветитьWith world markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hikes, the treasury yields rising rapidly, markets manipulations, and many other factors makes me wonder if people still make profits from all these investing BS.
ОтветитьWhat about CONY?
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks for detailing total returns as well as dividend income. I am considering opening a position in CEFS -- the monthly dividend looks stable while the price is going up. Any thoughts on CEFS?
ОтветитьHi Dividend Bull, can you make a video about best monthly dividend bonds stocks or funds?
ОтветитьI came across some statements from big investors expressing concerns that the stock market rally could be short-lived. My concern is my $600K stock portfolio is still recovering from a dip of almost 40%, how do I navigate these complex situations?
ОтветитьAnd thank you!
ОтветитьAs always great work!
ОтветитьAres Capital (ARCC) pays quarterly and beats these stocks over a 3 year and 5 year period.
ОтветитьDividends are what got me into investing in the stock market. The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. Have over $600K in my portfolio as I bought a lot of dividend stocks before, I'm buying more now, and I will buy more when it drops further.
ОтветитьAt the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information.
Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.
As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
ОтветитьNice analyses here.

ОтветитьGreat video ❤
ОтветитьI usually don't say much but thank you so much Miss Naomi Wilson, for your. education. you truly changed my trade and i finally became profitable by giving me a huge profit♥
ОтветитьTo enhance our long-term investment mix, my partner and I are introducing a range of stocks and ETFs. We've committed $220k initially, with a particular emphasis on inflation-protected bonds and businesses demonstrating robust cash flows. I see potential for enduring growth in the current market, yet I'm also keen to explore strategies for generating short-term gains.
ОтветитьI like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
ОтветитьThank you very much for sharing your experience and knowledge about trading.🗺
ОтветитьMan I almost dont find your videos but love all the info you give I think you a very smart guy. Your amazing thanks
ОтветитьThe latest CPI report reinforced a potential end to the interest-rate hikes that have hurt growth for over the past year, making a soft landing scenario more likely for the US economy.Recently sold 30% of my $500k portfolio comprising of plummeting stocks, quite devastating!
ОтветитьGain is terrible. Value trap. Avoid this kind of lower-than-inflation dividend growth curve.
ОтветитьIf I have 100k and it’s a monthly dividend for 10% I make 10k? Doesn’t sound right?
ОтветитьMy advice for dividend investors is to save for a bigger investment if you really want to retire off dividends, My major picks are SCHD and TSLA and a few more that i can't mention because my FA Emily Lois Parker is really strict on discretion, anyway i digress, You can't expect to make a million from a thousand dollar investment that's where most people get it wrong, It's not a lottery!! Make realistic investments!! People say it's good to be greedy while investing..Yes, i agree but there's a difference between being greedy and being delusional haha. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
ОтветитьThank you Dividend Bull!
ОтветитьYou didn't mention MAIN's div. %.
ОтветитьThough dividend-paying stocks don’t offer dramatic price appreciation, they can provide a consistent income stream, I want to spread across $200k into profit yielding dividend equities but unsure of which to get into.
ОтветитьJust because a stock/crypto is going up doesn’t mean it’s a good investment. just because a stock is going down doesn’t mean it’s a bad investment. theres more to a stock than just its stock price. An entire company more. focus on the company, not just the stock price or the bitcoin price, I trade and hold profits keep up the great work! and also Kucia jacob has been doing a great job reviewing all chart, trade and techniques on BTC which has enhance the growth of my portfolio to 17 BTC lately.
ОтветитьGreat information .I know a very successful trader who has worked with several top prop firms. And she is just like BULL, she always shares and helps others without expecting anything in return.
ОтветитьHi Dividend Bull,
I'd love to see a video with your thoughts on some of the Canadian bank stocks BNS and CM. Both have a yield around 7% and have dropped to very fair valuations recently. I've been reading up on them through seeking alpha and most analysts say they are excellent choices right now for many years of income and growth. Would be curious to get your thoughts on this. Dividend Sensei on seeking alpha said this about BNS:
"What about BNS dividend's safety?
BNS will sometimes freeze its dividend under the command of regulators. But those regulators aren't going to force it to cut its dividend.
How can we know? Because BNS was founded in 1832, 191 years ago.
It began paying a dividend one year later, in 1833. In 190 years, how often has it missed a dividend payment or cut its dividend? Zero.
Not even in the Great Depression, when 9,000 US banks collapsed and our stock market fell 87%, did BNS cut its dividend.
Not in the Great Recession, Pandemic, WWI, WWII, a global flu pandemic that wiped out 5% of humanity. Not even in the 1840 Canadian banking panic, the last financial crisis in Canada."
I'm really between the devil and the deep blue sea, is this really a good time to buy? Folks are screaming "Dead cat bounce" Do I just wait and buy after continuation after rally when things go back down? My reserve of $450K is laying waste to inflation and I don't know what to do at this point tbh, I need solid data on market trajectory.
ОтветитьThank you for all that you do - your videos are in depth and give great detail. Keep up the great work 👍
ОтветитьMy spouse and I are adding a variety of stocks/ETF to my present holdings for the long term, We've set aside $250k to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, I believe it is a good time to capitalize on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualizing short term profit.
ОтветитьWould like to see you analyze high yielding CEF’s
ОтветитьGreat video Bull!
ОтветитьI cannot wait for those supplemental dividends GAIN is going to pay. Going to earn over 2 grand off them. I also own MAIN they will be paying another supplemental distribution in Q4 and another dividend increase in 2024. I love both companies!
ОтветитьPutting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.
ОтветитьGreat stuff thanks 👍
ОтветитьIs this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying stocks are at a discount and all, but just how long will It take for us to recover, obviously there are strategies to maneuver in this present market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, or am I better off putting my money elsewhere?
ОтветитьCLM is lowering their dividend
ОтветитьADC is a crappier O
ОтветитьAmazing review🙏🍷
ОтветитьGreat coverage D.Bull, thanks.
ОтветитьI just have DGRW as my core dividend holding for simplicity since I have a long time horizon.
