ОтветитьTokyo is good ,but I think Kyoto would be better!
ОтветитьMy experience around the Japanese has been a very very poor one, their society is a very closed one, perhaps due to the fact that they can't speak English well (and expect one to speak in Japanese), but either way, I think their management structure, system of approaching things and overall ideas about processes made them a little, well, different. Japan and the Japanese are not my cup of tea (unless you want to become their Pikachu and a Pokemon who fights their battles in proxy, you won't enjoy their company).
ОтветитьPallavi, great to see you

ОтветитьThe ultimate take home should be, what is it that we can learn from Japan that we could use to improve our nation?

Ответить日本語わからないと日本の文化わからないかもしれ
ОтветитьSo this is how it works here in Japan:
Doing what is perceived as a good thing in other countries is usually normal/regular. In my opinion when you make something a good thing, not doing it makes it normal/regular
I am amazed. What an amazing account of observations.
ОтветитьWanna Hear a Joke?
An SBI employee Died of Karushi.
Really interesting insights into the life and culture of Japan, and have to say the guest does give does talk about many things that generally not heard of about Japan.
P.S- A little less snobbishness would have been nice on the part of the speaker, could feel that typical contempt that comes out of the mouth of most NRI's about everything Indian and how backward we are. Cheers from a fellow NRI
Very good narration on the cultural differences between India vs Japan. This talk is a real Manthan.Thank you- Print & thank you-Madam
ОтветитьI share her viewpoint . Very interesting.
ОтветитьHow she is Indian if she has Japan passport!
ОтветитьJapan has every right to refuse to open up immigration to all and sundry to preserve their society. India is certainly not the example to follow . It never learns from it being raped and looted by those to which opened its doors. It is trying to obtain a different result to the one that keeps failing. That is another definition of insanity.
ОтветитьNow imagine whatever she said to be applied in india😂😂😂😂. The horror.
ОтветитьBlessed to live in Tokyo
ОтветитьWonder if Ms Pallavi Aiyar has ever had the opportunity to watch and familiarize herself with the activities of the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band in Japan? This elite high school, catering mainly to young women, is a profound example of successful hard work in a challenging musical milieu outside the normal cultural restraints of Japan. Their example has now spread to many schools all over that country. Their band's continued participation in the Pasadena Rose Parade over the years has been a big highlight for its many fans.
ОтветитьTh speaker deserves wholesome praise for a very rounded and grounded presentation. She is talented and appears non-judgemental and free of the mental slant of the typically westernised, indo-phobia which itinerant Indian journalists usually have.
ОтветитьStop comparing India to Japan.
They only changed 300 years ago way but earlier than us .
They haven't been colonised , destroyed , demonised.
They too had manual rickshaw Wallas, slaves, even untouchables.
But their long used wars, power, force to bring change.
They are a small, homogeneous nation.
In India, Nehrus obsession with UKs Luddite culture, Labour party has become our bane.
Instead of taking pride in our native dharma, he supported Communists and demonitisation of native culture.
He should have drilled pride of our Civilisation, perfection in everything which is essence of our dharma, ideitfying faults, but removing imperfections by repeated iteration. He didn't
Stop comparing them to India .
Demon led to Digital payments adoption in India. Else we were like Japan
ОтветитьThere are 10K Japanese people in India and may be 30K Indians in Japan.
ОтветитьIt is indeed an unbelievable country. Has its dark side but shows what can be achieved by human beings with good leadership. The civic sense is un beatable. Watashiwa Nihon totemo Suki desu.
ОтветитьVery interesting and informative. Loved it. 👍
ОтветитьA most fascinating picture of Japan by Pallavi Aiyer. Will definitely read her books
