That’s a horrific amount of fuel!!!!! Get a predator 5000w dual fuel and you’ll burn maybe 20 galls in 10 days!

It may be an expensive combo, but this and hurricane windows make your life a LOT easier come hurricane season.

60 gallons a day, or 2.5 gallons a hour. That must be one of those 20K Kw generators.

Who the hell installed that machine it is literally sitting against the wall it's sucking in its own exhaust, the machine is not installed correctly with clearances

I have a 3500 watt generator. I can run everything but the big stuff. Propane fireplace for heat, camp stove for cooking and two small AC units in case it's hot. The generator kicked ass Christmas Eve 2022 when it got cold and the power went out for two days.

If I heard right, he is only running the generator 4 hours a day. Thats a big difference from 6 days straight at 24 hours a day.

I wouldn’t have ran it straight for 6 days. I probably have something like that and another generator that isn’t as powerful but can power some things but run the stuff maybe8- 12 hours throughout the day

I got thru an extended power failure with a small Honda inverter generator. Very easy on fuel. For larger loads, I used a large contractor B&S generator intermittently. That little Honda produces clean power. My high efficiency gas furnace ran well on it. That same furnace faulted and wouldn't run on the large generator.

Longest my 20 kw generator ever ran was 46.5 hours. It burned ½ a qt of oil during that time. Best money I ever spent.

Talk to the people whose generac failed them

I have a liquid cooled twin cyl Honda 7000 watt w/30amp out put plug with generator disconnect panel . I leave it behind house with a 4x4 piece of plywood over it . Electric start . I keep cord in garage. I have another back up generator as well . Briggs + and Stratton V twin Electric start. I run and test them . I Have barn animals need well running no matter what . Have automatic water despenser in barn for them. I keep gas fuel barrel on farm to have plenty on hand . Animals only know that when they are thirsty they go drink.

But at what percent load?

60 percent of 360 is 216 gallons in 6 days is 36 gallons a day. Idk that’s pretty bad.

Not worth it, my friend bought one, and the city he lives in told him you need to remove it off your property since you need a permit to have it on your property and our permission to install it, and can only be permitted to have an official install it for you.
