How To Set Up Dedicated Server In Palworld

Best explanation! Helped me get my server running with my friends.

I have an issue where the same computer works when the server is on and the same computer on a different internet will not work. Do you happen to know why?
Note: the server is on and others can access the server.

Hey when i set up the server this way and i shut down my pc, will all the progress be gone on the server? Or will it still be there when i put the server back up?

Just a question why are you opening 3 ports if you are only using the 8211 port?

I have been trying this for hours unfortunately I can't get it to work. I'm using cox and my panaoramix wifi box/app looks exactly like yours so I'm confident I have my port forwards right and I know its on the right local ip because i can pause the internet to the device and hey i cant use internet so that's right... I have all my firewall rules to allow pal incoming connections I can connect to it fine locally but i can't using my public ip. when i go to canyouseeme it shows me my public ip and then I type in the 8211 port and it says it cant see me idk what im doing wrong :/

Everyone else can access the server, except for me. The game hard crashes whenever I try to access the server from the computer the server is running from.

SO I was able to set it up but no one can join my server with the IP I give them they all get the connection timed out, any suggestions?

This only works for local. Friends far away cant join.

So, by doing this. This is a free way of running a server vs buying one?

Hey Dusty, thanks for the help! another quick Q for you.. Is the process of entering a password bugged? I have one set in the INI file but Palworld itself never asks for one, and even when I click the password check button, I can just X out and it let's me in without inputting it.

I'm trying to do the IP port forwarding stuff and spent hours to no success, in the server config file I have the public IP (PublicIP=""), I'm using Verizon for internet and my port forwarding asks for the following,

Application: (PALWORLD)
Original Port: (8211)
Protocol: (TCP/UDP, mine just says Both)
Fwd to Addr: (My Local IP, I tried the external too just in case but the same issue occurred)
Fwd to Port: (8211)
Schedule: Always

I added 2 more for the other numbers you listed and tried running the dedicated server but keep getting "CreateBoundSocket: ::bind couldn't find an open port between 27015 and 27015"

Can anyone whos set this up on Verizon give any idea on what could be wrong?

The part where you type ipconfig to get your IP address is wrong. The way to get your public IP address is by typing in Google "what is my IP" and it will show you your PUBLIC IP address the provider has given you. That's the one you should put in the file and that's the one you should share with your friends. The IP that is being returned from ipconfig is your LOCAL (internal) IP address, it's only for your PC and has absolutely no meaning for anyone outside of your network.

Great video thank you dude, I would make a quick change and update the IP address wording as you've said your IP and not public IP.. and that you need to update the server ini file. - copy and paste from the local file to the server file

My friends can't connect to my server no matter what i do. I restarted the computer, i restarted the internet, i have quintuple checked that the ports are open and correct. I am able to connect and it seems to show and reperesent all of the server settings i set, but nobody else can connect.
