I just noticed that Neville praises Harry for killing a basilisk with the sword and then Neville kills a snake with the sword in his triumphant moment in Deathly Hallows.

man i forgot how much of an asshole sirius was in the books. i get that he's a little crazy from azkaban and being cooped up and everything but i like kind of reckless depressed but very paternal sirius from the movie far more.

To me the prophecy always referred to Harry because Voldemort knew it referred to Harry. I mean when he heard the prophecy y he didn't just flip a coin between Neville and Harry. He knew. Maybe to V there was 3 specific instances that came to mind of the Potters defying him. So yeah nobody else might have known to whom the prophecy was referring to, but V did.
Anyway, totally amateur fan here so just my lame theory on it. 😆👍

i think if u read chapter 37 carefully, u would realize how sad this book was (i finished the 5th book yesterday ) and its my favorite chapter ever (until now), everything was a build up for chapter 37, and the sadness just exploded!

The part with Molly's boggart kills me now that I'm a mom. I'm certain my boggart would be the same as hers and honestly I'd probably have the same reaction as well. Since the way to defeat a boggart is by making it something funny, I just don't know how you could over come seeing the corpses of your loved ones.

Why isn't Dumbledore in charge of expelling his own students anyway? Like I know the ministry seizes more power anyway but why can he fire teachers without oversight but not expel students. Even if it had to be multiple people shouldn't it be the Hogwarts board of directors?

Unpopular opinion, i actually think book Hermione in Order of phoenix is great.
1.) She tries to question Umbridge in DADA classes.
2.) Initiates Dumbledore army idea in group.
3.) Makes arrangement to put Harry's point of view about Voldemort's return to world with help of Rita and Luna.
4.) Tries to stop Harry falling into Voldemort's trap to make him come to Ministry of Magic but fails.
5.) Stops Umbridge to use cruciatus curse on Harry and tricks her to follow them in forbidden forest.
I think this book Hermione really blended Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin qualities.

Order of the Phoenix is the only one where I might prefer the movie to the book, although the book is still fantastic.
There's still bad changes in the movie but there's also a LOT of amazing changes, especially the scene with Sirius in the room with the Black family tree wallpaper.

There's also still things the book does better, like the Dumbledore vs Voldemort fight for example, but I think overall I prefer the movie.

One thing you have wrong miss wesley is thete at the station left of seruis black in dog form.
