Why isn't My Headset Mic Working & How do I Fix it? - Windows & Software Settings

I tried everything in this video and it still won’t work. I can hear fine but my mic won’t work in any of the test or game chat or discord but I can hear everyone perfectly fine. Every once in a while when I update something on my pc this will happen and usually I can fix it but it’s been weeks without being able to talk to anyone in discord or game chat. please help.

literally nothing works, and yes i watched the other video but im not spending money because i know its going to cost atleast 15 euros..

My headset is coming up in sound settings, is defaultfor sound, not muted. But no sound. I can see in the volume bar there is sound but I can't hear anything. Thoughts? (I tried all of these in the video)

My mic still does not work am in the settings and in input there nothing not even the pc microphone

I was trying to figure why my dads headphones with mic doesnt working for like 1h then i looked i settings in privacy And i see he turned it off for some Reason so i was updating drivers etc And IT was this stupid little thing😂

ok so i watched the whole video perefect im on a laptop. i thought i had it but my new astro 10 mic is not being detected by my computor ive been siting here for 1 hour figureing out why my audio works but mic doesnt or being detected in the recording section even though i clicked on show disabled devices.

my problem is that my Gaming Laptop has 2 ports...and my headset only has 1 cord to place in the port, if i put it in output, i can hear, but not say anything, if i put it in input, i can say things just fine, but cant hear anything...i REALLY dont want to have to get another headset if i dont have to, is there any way to solve this without having to spend more money on getting a 2 cord headset, or a bluetooth one?

My pc has two plugs one for headphones and one for a speaker but i only have one plug because the mic is on my headset i dont know what to do ;-;
