Jesus, this poor woman was born and raised in hell on earth, then her one and only friend, the one thing in her life she thought was good turned out to be just another abuser. If anyone has an excuse to be messed up its her. These are the kind of childhoods you hear about Serial killers having, if anyone had an excuse to be messed up its her. But judging by where she is now, she's doing better than most people I know, she's laughing and smiling. I know I have a limited perspective here but she comes off as so put together. Tough as fucking nails.

It’s so disgusting that grown men are SA’ing our children. Like are we living in the twilight zone? There are ALOT of disturbed, sick, depraved men out here.

I’m just so impressed and amazed how smart she was in those situations. Like how she didn’t eat any of the food that her kidnapper gave her in case of sleeping pills or other substances as well as counting the number of links to chain herself back up when the kidnapper came back. She also was able to convince the kidnapper to confess with her questions. She survived those sick people at such a young age. I hope she’s having a happier life now despite of what happened during her childhood❤❤

Every adult in Katie's life either completely failed her or did monstrous things to her over and over again both before and after she got abducted and buried in the wall. Absolutely horrible. But luckily, she survived her terrible ordeal and ended up getting legitimately fantastic foster parents. Glad there was actually a decently happy ending, that seems to be super rare in cases like this...

I remember this so well me and Katie were good friends they actually interviewed me on tv about the case and if I had seen or heard anything about her disappearance I remember crying telling the camera that we were devastated by this and we missed her and I remember praying after that for them to find her we lived literally like two house away from each other she lived on the right side of the road me on the left so brave and I’m so proud of the woman she has become ❤❤❤ love you Katie love trixie

I'm so glad that Katie got the justice she deserved, because I've heard TOO MANY KIDNAPPING STORIES where the victim gets shown absolutely NO remorse and NO justice. Sometimes the victim even endures heavy victim-blaming, AFTER THEY'VE DIED.

It's truly heartbreaking knowing people this disgusting actually exist. How? Just how can you do this to a child? Children look to adults for trust and guidance. Anyone who would do this to a child deserves cruel and unusual punishment.

As Katie went through everything she had to go through she was to young to have this happen too her yet she had hope and she didn’t give up and she would try to escape as she is very young yet very smart. As it’s very disappointing that the person she trusted the most would do this to her.
