Wasn't it winter...?
ОтветитьTo imagine a french minisseries with low budget managed to make it way better than Ridley Scott's Napoleon...
ОтветитьFilm s name?
ОтветитьWhat's all the hate for Ridley Scott's Napoleon?
ОтветитьWatching this it gives me the fear that hornblower will inspire a similar catastrophe like napoleon if they wanted to make a horratio nelson movie. He was insanely badass in the battle of trafalgar.
Ответитьyet more content unwilling to punch me in face
ОтветитьThey should have 'cancelled' Napolean. Like 'cancelled' him from speaking at Harvard or Berkeley n shit like that. Besides he did not have any LGBTQ policy.
Ответитьthis 2002 tv series already depict battle of austerlitz better than 2023 blockbuster film
ОтветитьWhat movie is this
ОтветитьThe uniforms aren’t bad but the black coats is kinda inaccurate since russia and France had brown colored great coats but I do like how a lot have great coats since you would usually wear it in battle in the French army since blue coats were expensive and blue was worn but there would be a mix of soldiers wearing greatcoats or wearing their normal uniforms
ОтветитьThis is the real Austerlitz
ОтветитьFunny how much better napoleon sounds with a french accent.
ОтветитьIm liking this napoleon much much better than what i just saw..
ОтветитьScott's version was ridiculous, this production is awesome. Greetings from Bolivia 🇧🇴.
Ответитьname the movie please
ОтветитьBut wasn’t Austerlitz fought at dusk on a lake between 2,000 men? 😂
Kidding!
I really liked these miniseries and I was hoping that the new movie will be good but nah, Ridley Scott truly disappointed me…
Ответить"The authors are not where we are today
By the way where are we?"
-Napoleon, 1805
I like how with the much smaller budget this portrayal of austerlitz is so so so much better than the scott film - mainly because you also get some depiction of Napoleon as a cunning tactician, even if its a bit condensed but you also get a sense of energy and enthusiasm and leadership. And details like the fog and the pratzen heights and interesting choices with the russian uniform - clever for budget saving as the russian green was extremely dark almost black like. The weather overall looks more accurate to the battle too than the scott film
Ответить
Keep It Simple Napoleon knew that
ОтветитьBetter portray of Austerlitz than the 2023 movie
ОтветитьHealthy males born between 1750 and1798, were doomed to die in battle in france
ОтветитьWay better than the 2023 film’s depiction
ОтветитьThis low budget Austerlitz is much more accurate then the high budget Austerlitz in Ridley Scott’s Napoleon. it’s quite disappointing how Ridley rejected his historians for giving advice, I’m not kidding the movie would have been better if it was a was a show, and it would have been better if it tried to keep historical accuracy’s that are extremely noticeable.
ОтветитьSo much better than the 2023 movie hahaha
ОтветитьOne of the most badass parts of Austerlitz is Napoleon asking Marshal Soult how long it would take to capture Pratzen. Marshal Soult looked at the hill and casually responded "No more than twenty minutes."
Ответитьthe author of those handbooks are not where we are today!
By the way , were are we ?
Better than the new
ОтветитьWhy is it that people say the French retreat when the French have the greatest military success in history
ОтветитьTbe fact that this is scaled down to ab 100th of the magnitude of the true battle is a testament to just how incredible these generals and their armies were.
ОтветитьHow the hell did the French economy survive when most of the young men who did the hard work in the country were conscipted into the army to be slaughtered in russia and many other battles? Half a million in russia alone. Looks like Napoleon invaded other countries just to get more fresh soldiers for his conquests.
ОтветитьNel 1805 la fanteria di linea francese e gli artiglieria non indossavano ancora lo shako'.
ОтветитьDavout was 80 miles away on a forced march to reinforce the right flank, not briefing with Napoleon.
ОтветитьThe sheer scale of Napoleonic warfare always blows my mind. There were likely over 160,000 troops engaged at Austerlitz. I can't imagine the din of all those muskets and cannon, and the grand sweeping spectacle of it all.
Ответитьthis is when i realize how short napoleon really is😂😂😂
ОтветитьAn enemy is never more vulnerable than when they believe the battle is going their way😈💀
ОтветитьDid they have shakos during this time? I thought they still wore bicornes. At least until 1806 or something.
ОтветитьI find it kinda funny the only person with a French accent in this clip is Napoleon who himself was not actually French lol
Well Corsica was part of France at the time but they speak Corsican there which is related to Standard Italian
There is one problem with this scene. There is no ice
ОтветитьThat’s why he’s napoleon
ОтветитьWasn’t there suppose to be snow. I remember Napoleon shooting his cannons at the russians while they were retreating across ice. Or is that a different battle im thinking of
Ответить...this Napolean show like a drunk english.
Napoleon weared straight,no hut on back...,the nouse is too big.
This it's a clown.
I think Napoleon doesn't toasting too.
He had no more 10 arabian horses in single campaign.
The short whip and gloves,...and sight,Napoleon was a live statue who looking from under forehead, somewhere on skyline.
This Napoleon it's a drunkmen,sorry...
You cannot do a wrong about a interprater for a Emperor role...in 21 century,we must to have least one person like at Napoleon. style.
An army that outnumbered his own by 20,000 men AND had the high ground yet he destroyed it anyway with brilliant deception and superior mobility. The Russian Tsar is said to have muttered after the battle, "We are babies in the hands of a giant." referring to Napoleon. British Duke Wellington said that Napoleon's hat on a battlefield was equal to 10,000 men. His enemies feared him, respected him and some couldn't help but admire him. Ultimately Napoleon defeated himself: the Spanish War and the attack on Russia doomed him.
ОтветитьI love how flamboyant Murat sounds :D
ОтветитьThe cavalry guy nailed the cannon😂
ОтветитьWhat movie is this?
ОтветитьThis is the one battle where Napoleon can show his excellent plan to his marshals and he had his best marshals in this battle such as Lannes, Soult, Murat and Davout, its so good to watch
ОтветитьThe camera work was awful in the old days
Ответить
