I'm currently fasting 16:8 (or even 18:6), eating in 12-20 window. That comes naturally, i dont want to eat before 12-14 hours and i'm not hungry after dinner if had plenty of tasty protein.
I'd like to try 5:2 (ideally) or at least 6:1, since it should be more effective (right?), But wondering: won't it slow metabolism? Why my organism won't consider it starvation? Or if I'm eating fine (1200-1600, nutritional value ok) than it's better not to fast that long?
Is it healthy to do IF for a prolonged period of time (years)? Or is it a tool meant for short term use?
Ответить2MAD 18/6 or 19/5 so have 2 meals a day, so get your nutrients ect for the day.
