Hell yea 🇺🇸🦅 lots of fun to learn and work with ya!
ОтветитьI’m surprised you didn’t start heating it with a torch to get it more flexible honestly.
ОтветитьNow the next project is a Salt Spreader
Ответитьgreat job but I would not have made it tilt right and left to be level with the ground as most of the time the truck will fallow the ground level and way and it is one more wear point etc. but awesome job and looks very nice .
Ответитьis there any update on the goose neck trailer?
Ответитьis that a 5.3 engine or?
ОтветитьMan I miss metal work so much.........
ОтветитьI’m curious to know if it would be more cost effective to make one or buy one? I drive a 2004 f-250 and feel like that would need a lot of materials.
ОтветитьAwesome vid. Looks like a lot of work but worth it
ОтветитьAwesome vid. Looks like a lot of work but worth it
ОтветитьWasn’t they’re someone else and how does that plow work for the jeep?
ОтветитьI dont know why no ones ever thiught of making gloves like those, but i guarantee whoever did is making more money than he or she knows what to do with, and likely uses some profanity finding out about any company making imitations. When i came up & in my reign all we had were heavy stick gloves u had to break in and primadona lambskin tig gloves u had to treat like jewelery because theyre easy to fuck up, and you had to have both
ОтветитьI wonder how much it would cost for you to build one for me
Ответить500$ in metal ..........20k$ in tools and school to know how to weld......yah...............................................smart move...........................................................
ОтветитьMake the mount to reconnect the bumper in the spring and summer
ОтветитьGreat steel wool
ОтветитьI see you used the trailer you built to haul the steel
ОтветитьWhy did you use a hydraulic cylinder and a chain? Why not use the hydraulic cylinder for down force to force the blade to cut?
ОтветитьI just started loving plowing in the snow. Thanks Waldo for this
Ответитьoh man i am already loving it
ОтветитьWaldo, when are you going to get a plasma table?
ОтветитьWhat happened to your buddy introduced in the beginning? Anyway, getting all this brand spanking new steel painted? Let the roll top layer rust off outside before painting ( it wil come off anyway) tip for galvanized steel; you can't painting this unless using a good primer but way cheaper and quicker is paint the first layer with acrilic wall paint. Good luck on future projects.
ОтветитьLive in Minnesota, i think its not at a steep enough angle. You need to get the snow to go behind the plough if you can
ОтветитьA Jackall will create your curvature quite easily and another method is to dig yourself a plow hole pattern and drive onto your blank.
Ответитьmaybe a 45 gallon barrel ,,,set it down on 45 gallon barrel it would help ya bend plow blade better almost same shape
ОтветитьYou forgot to put the shoes on 😂
Ответитьwhat controller is that where did you order it from
ОтветитьThat's a big project you took on but it sure looks neat ! 😇😇😇
ОтветитьVery inpresed We did snow plowing back in the 80's made good money but what a pane. Have fun.
ОтветитьWaldo's got a new toy 😂 , woof woof Aspen and Rhino
ОтветитьDo you plan on a line of metal scouring pads with all that magdrill swarf ? woof woof Aspen & Rhino
ОтветитьThe sound from the plow was kinda tough on my ears in my headphones, but it was totally worth it when the engine sound came, gotta love that sound! 🤘
ОтветитьThe snow blade itself is constructed incorrectly. I have plowed snow with tractors and wheel loaders for almost 50 years. Angle from plow to road, Is wrong. There should be a steeper angle there to the snow blade itself. Tells it like it is. ;) Down half up on the rubber below. Should you make a tooth all the way. Along the width of the reef. Is there ice on the road. Can you take down a tooth shear. That tears in the ice. Make it uneven.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьYou are fantastic! I love your work!
ОтветитьIs it time to buy a bench vice???
ОтветитьBefore I watch this I think I’ll come up with a top 10 list of things I don’t expect to see. Let’s see….. # 1 Unicycle riding……
ОтветитьRight tool for the job sometimes the safe and smarter way. Spend the money, have a metal shop roll that sheetmetal for you.
ОтветитьAfter the strap gets to a certain point it's pulling in more than pulling up towards the frame, chains and 3 to floor jacks will bend it int place no problem
ОтветитьYou need a float setting on the down valve where it allows the blade to.move freely up and down allowing consistent contact with ground
ОтветитьWhat thickness is the moldboard? I personally didn't hear it in the video if it was mentioned.
ОтветитьYou don't need snow plows here in GA...Just sayin...
ОтветитьDid you make the Jeep mounts for the Vermont guy?
ОтветитьIt's like riding HALF a bike
ОтветитьWhere are you guys in VT?
ОтветитьLed bar has been awesome for a headlight. I use the truck lights separate for turns and brights. I kept losing lenses and breaking seals while pushing into piles. And bars are brighter and cheaper. Way more light and durability. Awesome plow. Doing it yourself adds endless value
ОтветитьWhen you make the stand for the plow make it a cradle with wheels on that you could roll the plow to the truck instead of driving the truck to the plow makes it a lot easier putting it on takes the guesswork out you could see what's happening
Ответить
