New to crocheting and just got finished going through the odyssey of spinning my own yarn. I could only make around 35 yards at a time on my little spindle, so I ended up with a bunch of different little balls of yarn. I ended up spinning over a mile of yarn, total this past month! All for one blanket. lol
I was looking for a easy granny square to make them with. This looks really pretty and doesn't look as complicated as the end result. This was very helpful. I'm going to make this granny square out of every ball.

I made one. The video was pretty easy to follow, granted I had to watch it over and over to make sure I was doing it correctly. I'm not sure if I was using the right size hook because you didn't specify hook size or type of yarn. A pattern being attached would have helped too. Mine didn't come out as pretty as yours but maybe the next one I make will be better.

This is honestly not a good tutorial because the instructions skip too fast to be able to read them and there’s basically no point in trying for people like me who need clear and simple instructions that we can keep up with. The design is very pretty, but the fast paced instructions that you say are easy to follow are in fact not beginner friendly or easy to follow.

I don't think this tutorial is good for beginners. Maybe intermediate? But beginners, absolutely not.

this is such a cute granny square but i think you abbreviated your slip stitches wrong; it should be sl st not sc which stands for single crochet! just a friendly fyi bc people might make a mistake when they follow your pattern 💗

Love it, i am using these squares to make a bucket hat and i think they will turn out great. I did notice some terms misplaced in the top left corner but other than that it was an amazing tutorial.

I know you keep saying you show eveything in the video but have you ever tried to follow a crochet video as a beginner with no captions or written directions? It's really hard, and now I can't follow your video. Shame cos the square looks really nice.

I think a different color yarn would have been better, it is really hard to see where you are sticking the needle through :( you also go kind of fast. :( Really wanted to try this, but no matter how many times I replay it, I can't see how to do the next part.
