These infantrymen are cool under pressure. Shoot, move, communicate. I was surprised at the 400+ meter distance to the enemy firing AK and maybe DSHKA, so far that I’m not sit sure M4 carbines even make sense with that length of barrel. I was also surprised at the number of M-249s, I thought it was only one per squad but it seems like more with these guys. I think I saw 60mm mortars, but no 82mm mortars with the baseplate & all, maybe these buts are light and don’t have any 11 Charlie’s assigned?

I appreciate the respect being voiced in these comments while I read them here in the PTSD program with other veterans at this VA facility.

These is the world's mighty army that invaded a country wherever the US likes. Forces such as these US unit heavily engaged in combat with local insurgents it called the Taliban whose only means of self defense is to fought back US aggression. If the same procedure is applied on the US mainland, or any of its 50 constitutive states by foreign power likely the whole country, it's nation led by its government will be in revolt and resists ferociously and eagerly against the foreign occupiers. So what's different if it's aggression and invasion on Afghanistan is applied on the reverse role? Same. No state had the right to attack another on it's soil from another state thousands of miles distant from its shores. It's had no basis in whatever law one invoked. The only difference clearly is that both forces in the analogy, or no one has the right to invade an occupy whimsically another's territory, or sovereign country for that matter. US is the threat to world security. World Peace is an illusion. US is the reason that gave the Taliban the right to exists from being in a simple and individualized resistance, to organized jihad and finally became insurgents that are created for the expulsion of invaders. From Alexander the Great to Roman Empire, and from other invading armies like the Mongols to the British in the 19th and early 20th century, these invaders were expelled by the angry locals that resulted in crashing and humiliating defeat for the outsiders. US lost too many costly wars after World War II. Vietnam, Laos & Somalia to mention few. US gave Taliban a country of their own. The US-sponsored and proxy government of Karzai that it establish 21 years ago just turn-tail, and abandoned Afghanistan to the Taliban. So do the US Forces turned-tail the worst in US military history after Vietnam War. Now US want war with China over Taiwan to drag other states into proxy conflict. This time China is nuclear power state, not 3rd world country. It could potentially escalate into nuclear war that would likely to erase life on the planet.
