Karma as we translates in Thai is actually means “action”. It is the action that comes from our minds (That is our thoughts), our speeches or our words, and our actions or what we do. Think about the atomic habit (you know, the book that came out recently by James Clear) He said “you’ll get what you repeat”. And Buddha’s words said something like this “Beware of your habits for it will dictate your destiny or fate.” This is my simplify version of the saying. The belief about karma is that you will eventually get your inputs. It means that whatever you put in, you’ll get the outputs that similar to your inputs in a sense such as you stole something from someone and that person felt really sad about it. Let’s say he or she feels some 80% of sadness level then you are bound to feel the same way in the future but, of course, you will not losing the same things but it will make you feel pretty much the same as your past victim.

I don't know if I sufficiently study enough to teach you but you can try mindfulness meditation or Satiputtana 4. the first one is knowing your body sensation. 1.Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. Feeling the body where the breath pass such as your nostrils where the breath comes in and out. your chest or belly up and down. Don't try to force yourself to breathe deeply instead just relax and let your body breathe freely. Now you will know how your body is like in the action of breathing. you can try thinking the word "in" and "out" for the breath if you cannot calm your mind. 2.Feel the bottom where you sit. Is it feeling soft or hard. Feel the wind that blow to your body or face. Let your body feel and not your thinking. you don't have to find words for it, just know from your body not your thought. Then try to use this when you're angry. See when your breath change. feel the thing in the chest going to outburst. It will give you the information of how your body change when you're angry. Your facial expression, your breath, your heart pounding. If you take a deep breath maybe it can help you thinking straight and solve the situation better. Because you take in more oxygen. Try to get rid of anger with one breath like Buddhadasa said "Get rid of Kiles in one breath" (Kiles is greed, anger, delusion or ignorance) I'm still trying to learn the other three so that's all I can tell you.

It's up to you on how fast you can gain the enlightenment. According to the Tripidaka, it can be gain in 7 days, or 7 months, or 7 years, or the longest is 7 lives (I mean rebirth). For how long is up to your learning and practice. Starting from now. I try to give you the answer because I hope that in the future life of mine (I mean rebirth) people will guide me and answer my questions, you know, help me out the same way I did in this life. Just my belief.

The key to understanding buddhism as a non-buddhist is to first understand that buddhism has absolutely zero beliefs, meaning that it does not accept a thought out of faith, but out of logic and observation (this observation is made up of concentration and mindfulness, which are developed by meditation. While meditating, observation attains insight, which then attains wisdom from within).

I have some Buddhist wisdom that I discovered from Japanese Buddhist teachings, so I comment them.

- The Pure Land sect has a hierarchical universe called the three thousand worlds.
It's the same as the real universe. The Buddha lands (that is, the planets of enlightened beings) exist like the sand of the Ganges River there. And far beyond there is the Pure Land of Bliss.

- Esoteric Buddhism sects preach compassion and wisdom by the Super Buddha personified the universe. Since humans are born in the universe, we are part of this Buddha. In other words, we are Buddhas in birth. We should be aware of this and live our daily lives.

- The Lotus Sutra teaches that a Buddha from the distant past was born on this earth
as Shakyamuni Buddha. This is the truth of life that only Buddhas and Buddhas can discuss. It foreshadows the life creation through DNA.

- The Avatamsaka Sutra(called Kegon-Kyou in Japan) teaches that there is a universe even
within a dust. This means that our universe is also in a gigantic particle. In other words,
it teaches that the reality of the universe is a fractal multiverse.

- Buddhism predicts that Buddhism itself will disappear and that Maitreya Bodhisattva will
save humanity 5.67 billion years from now. Isn't this a prophecy for the lifespan of the sun
in an age when interplanetary flight is possible?

In addition to the above, since Brahma was involved in Shakyamuni Buddha's enlightenment, Buddhism must be a teaching came from the sky for the awakening of humanity.

That's a very good account of buddhism. That's the buddhism that I practice. What you do to others will come back to you in the exact same way. That is karma. Then there is no place to hide.

When Buddhism goes into mythology with Mara (the demon), karma and reincarnation - it's best to tune out. We need to believe things based on evidence - that is the only true way. No evidence equals no belief. Unfortunately, it's this mythology that makes Buddhism a religion instead of a philosophy.
