Butterfinger chocolate isn’t tempered though.. melts easily, dull in appearance.. butterfinger chocolate sucks tbh

I’m only halfway into the video but I think it would be a lot easier to use only sugar and no corn syrup to keep the consistency crunchy and not chewy

Can I use a heating plat, or flat grill top to keep the candy soft, so you can fold the layers easier.

This is absolutely one of the most informative "foodie" "science" shows on the internet. I loooooove these people!! The chemistry in the bowl and in the workplace is amazing. It doesn't hurt that they are so knowledgeable and so creative and not afraid to make keep trying until they get it "right on". They are wonderful and thank you all for a great show!!!

I’ve actually made Butterfingers before. Believe it or not I used candy corns melted in the microwave added peanut butter, shape them, cooled them and covered with chocolate. I got the same flakiness as an original Butterfinger. Turned out amazing.
