Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI love this information! I've been making it myself for years but never knew to add dish soap! Thank you!
ОтветитьHow do you know if a dish detergent is ph neutral?
ОтветитьYou put soap in your cleaner? Is it usually in cleaners?
ОтветитьNew to your channel. For the window cleaner, ok to substitute “Cleaning Vinegar” for the “White Vinegar”? Does it matter?
ОтветитьI like to clean with Mr. Clean they have so many to choose from.

I Love diy cleaners I just can’t seem to find one that gets rid of soap scum easily… 😮💨🙏🏽
ОтветитьI only buy toilet bowl cleaner and occasional convenience products. I do also still buy laundry detergent, although I've replaced my fabric softener with white vinegar. Other than that, everything is in a spray bottle. I probably could do DIY toilet bowl cleaner, but I just find that it requires a lot more vigorous scrubbing and overall time, and to me it is not worth it, since the store bought cleaners do everything for me. After letting it sit for a while, I only have to swirl the brush around a bit to knock everything out from under the rim and the sides of the bowl, flush, and then it's done.
ОтветитьI'm passionate about our environment. Very aware of plastic unsustainable throwaway waste. Please even if companies take back used microfibres most people can not or will not choose this obtain. Hence increasing plastic rubbish. I buy from a local company natural sustainable products and refill plastic bottles from a shop. I am trying out some ideas for home cleaning solutions. My first attempt was to shower cleaning. No I didn't remove all soap scum. But I will try it again and tweak the recipe
ОтветитьOK, my cleaning is a bit more work. But I always used newspaper to clean my windows. My mum did this and we never had streaks. Reuses and reduced and it is easily available I used to wash the outside windows when it was raining and let the rain do the hard work. Again this is what my mum did. However, now 😢not so keen on working in the rain
ОтветитьThank you for these cleaning tips, I wasn't sure how much of each ingredient to use...
Ответить😅Please tell me you use that yellow cup behind you to drink your coffee each morning 😋
ОтветитьDIY for life! Thank you for making this video. ❤
ОтветитьIs the counter cleaner also a disinfectant?
ОтветитьWhat kind of essential oils do you use please? And where do u get your spray bottle? Ty
ОтветитьCleaning vinegar or regular vinegar?
ОтветитьI've recently started using more DIY cleaners. I have a few store-bought cleaners, but I love that these are cheaper, just as effective and I can help the environment. Win-Win-Win!
ОтветитьHow can I get your mop you said down below, but I can’t seem to find it
ОтветитьWhere do you get a good bottle? I keep buying bottles from Lowe’s and Home Depot and very within a short time they don’t spray anymore.
ОтветитьI love home made whenever I can 👌
ОтветитьHello. Doesnt the vinegar smell on your mirrors and glass?
ОтветитьThat dishsoap/water/essential oil mixture that I was so excited about.... left a residue everywhere that I could SEE! Terrible!!
ОтветитьMy knowledge is that when combined, vinegar (an acid) and castile soap (a base) cancel each other and create unsaponified soap. What kind of soap do you use with vinegar? You mentioned ph neutral soap...
ОтветитьDo these recipes also work to disinfect?
ОтветитьHI Melissa, do you need to swipe again with water after using the PH neutral soap to create a cleaning liquid?
ОтветитьI found the best kitchen cleaner for ice box deep freezer and things. ITS CALL? 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. OMG it better than windex or any house hold cleaner For stuff that is caked on. Put some on it and scratch it off then use the Alcohol to finish cleaning
ОтветитьAdditional tip when using microfiber cloth, always remove the tag before using the cloth.
ОтветитьWhere do you get a QUALITY Spray Bottle? I bought a set, and they spray the first time and then never again. Then I end up pouring the cleaner out and waste a bunch.
ОтветитьFor my glass cleaner, I start with a spray bottle that has a "bulb" at the end. I fill the bottle with water, a capful of vinegar and then fill that little bulb with Dawn dish soap. I call it Dawn-water. Much less vinegar smell and double grease cutting.
ОтветитьI like the diy floor cleaner, but it seems to lack shine
ОтветитьBring this to Australia please
ОтветитьAbsolutely EPIIIIIIIC!!! 😍
ОтветитьI love the scent of fresh clean linen. I can easily find air fresheners with linen scent, but what essential oils do I use to achieve that smell of sunshine?
ОтветитьThis is new for me. Im excited about trying this...the enviornmental protection...the idea that I put it together...and it surely can be lower cost than purchasing all of my cleaning products!
ОтветитьHi..love this channel!. What are the store bought cleaners that u buy?
ОтветитьThe benefit of using vinegar is that it removes whether using it on your skin in a bath or you're using it on surfaces like countertops dishes is that when you smell the vinegar is working to remove anything that is foreign to the object you put it against so if you're doing the dishes and regular soap like Dawn in a bucket of some kind put water vinegar and you can rinse your dishes and it'll take away any dish so debris that are left behind because it will live a residue most cleaners will and last of course it has something like vinegar in it that's why I used to fruits and vegetables and a vinegar wash cuz it removes any residue that's left on your food my fruits and vegetables dirt etc
ОтветитьWhat do you use if you have been isolating with covid in ur place?
ОтветитьI like to colour code the spray bottles with the cleanser in it. If the bottles are clear of opaque I try to get nozzles in colours and add a few drops of food colouring. That way the glass cleaner jug and solution is, yup, blue. I use green for my antibacterial solution just because green kinda looks germy, lol. And so forth. It helps family members to easily recognise which is which.
ОтветитьHow do you clean that tricky gap between the cooktop and the counter where food gets flicked and stuck ?
ОтветитьSo happy to hear I don’t need to mop my wood floors every week!
ОтветитьLavender 👎 it gives me a headache
ОтветитьGreat video!! link for those microfiber cloths?
ОтветитьI use vinegar water alcohol and essential oil cleaner 99% of the time.. I use bar keepers friend for bathtubs sinks and toilets..
to get rid of smells I use baking soda and vinegar..
Love living in a non toxic chemical free home..
Hi, can I use the vinegar and dish soap on stone surfaces? And what products should I avoid using on stone surfaces 😬?
ОтветитьOH! And VERY proud to say for 1st time in our 30 yr marriage, we both have our OWN junk drawers, but they are nicely organized! It only took us 30 yrs to get it Right! Lol 😉😉
ОтветитьSince I've started watching your channel, I definitely make more of my own DIY, but every once in awhile, especially for a dirty, big job, such as when we moved in our new house last year, I still pick up a few from the store, where I'm drawn to foamy action cleaners. But in my multi-purpose, besides water & vinegar- I also add approx 2 tbsp of rubbing alcohol & peroxide, with a splash of Dawn. Is that not a good multi-purpose? Because I really thought I got that recipe from you?! Maybe not? Lol And I use baking soda on solo many items! I love it, and my hubby loves it bc it's so cheap! I still just have 2 major problem areas, one I'm afraid could be affecting my health. Would love to email or snail-mail you pictures & get your advice. Cannot take any chances with my health! Also, I hear you mention Castille soap? What exactly is that & what do you use it for? Would love to get your full list but unfortunately no computer, no printer......😕
