ОтветитьFun Fact: Pan Mee is Malaysian Hakka invented cuisine, original name called Dou Ma Cet. 刀麻切. While the name Pan Mee is later renamed by Hokkien Peeps. That's why there is no Pan Mee in China. The "Pan mian" in China is totally different thing.
So if possible, just call it pan mee. Pan Mien is confusing

ОтветитьI’m 🤤. I love chili pan mee and will try to make it soon. I made wonton mee last 2 days and during my marketing time, I found ready to cook pan mee from the supermarket. Definitely easier 😁
ОтветитьI've noticed there is two "styles" of chilli pan mee, one is the traditional one with ikan bilis, pork mince and poached egg, while the other is more common in kopitiams which use black sauce and mushrooms instead of egg
