Oscar…wow!! I’m so happy to see you and Addie start this new chapter in life together, how exciting!! You guys are the best and it’s so clear to see how GENUINELY in love you both are. I truly believe that you two are meant for each other. I’m so glad that you found your person—a person who loves you for you and who is willing to go through the hardships of a relationship with you no matter what. It’s also so refreshing to see all the bedrooms and knowing that all of the kids won’t be crammed in one tiny room or tucked off in a scary and isolated basement. Wish another person would think like that but unfortunately they are too busy rushing into a marriage/another baby to prove that they’re “in love”. Wishing you and Addie all the love!! Yay!!!

I love that it's her childhood home and the fact that you are not wanting to buy a brand new home but a house that you can make your own. Actually separate kitchen area when back to many many many years ago when they used wood and it would keep smoke from the rest of the house. I bought my house 30 years ago it’s a 104 year old house. The rooms are traditionally separate and I love it. It is a good size kitchen though with a big table in it so it doesn’t feel closed in. If I had a new house built I would have it separate also that’s my style. Also women nowadays seem to not like cooking for their family. I guess I’m just old fashioned. We did put a pass through window above sink though so I can look into livingroom while doing dishes

Love those wood floors! My husband and I bought my grandma’s house after she passed. It’s so amazing reliving old memories while creating your own. Our house has a pencil sharpener like that I always said would be in my house one day, I hope you keep it!

I love how this home tour is so wholesome compared to previous home tours. It used to be all about the perfect white house and couches, but now Oscar is excited about just being in the position to buy a home that is sentimental for Addie and creating a home for his family.
