This episode hit hard for me a bit but made me chuckle. Love my dad. We watched this show and had some laughs. He unfortunately died before this season came out. We did go kart and hells bells it was fun. Seeing Nathan and his pops doing that, I laughed, teared up and then heard my dad, don't be gay son lol.

I feel like Nathan's relationship with his parents really improved after the family episode in season 1. Like they were the only ones who got something good out of it, he and his father get along and he even calls his parents at a low point during Army of the Doomstar.
Meanwhile everybody else hated their families and seeing them again didn't change that much at all going forward in the series.

Toki: (Pretends to be cool with his Dad being dead, but not really)
Murderface: (Same, but still tries to deny it)
Pickles: (Jealous that their Dads are dead, but not his and wishes that were the face, denying nothing and wishing to kill his Dad)
Nathan: (Loves his Dad and is glad he's around)

I feel bad for people who don't have a father like mine.

One of the things I always valued in this show was how it shows Nathan and his dads relationship.

My friends are like this about their moms, and I'm like Nathan just having a great relationship with my mom. Hanging out, going to the zoo, seeing wrestling shows together.

It's crazy how Nathan is the one member of the band with a healthy family relationship.

Real talk this is one of those shows I'm not sure will stand the test of time, but that I truly only have good associations with and therefore won't rewatch because of it. (For context, Daniel Tosh is a similar vibe)

You know, if I had a nickel for every friend group I've had where I was the only one with a positive father figure, I'd have two nickels.

I am consistently like Nathan is here in every friend group I've ever been a part of and I don't understand how.
