The Ultimate Miyoo Mini

Thanks for the well thought out video. I just got into this hobby and I recently bought a Retroid Pocket 3+ and it's great. It plays everything that I'm interested in but I wish I had something more pocketable especially in the summer months. I was torn between the Miyoo Mini + or the 35xx + and I decided on the Miyoo thanks to this video. I just ordered one from your recommended site, can't wait to try it out.

I think my miyoo mini v2 that i bought off amazon came preinstalled with onion os. It looks almost identical to this, just with a different theme that ive never bothered to change

The fuck are you talking about? Putting a new OS in these devices is as easy as format/backup and then drag and drop the files onto the sd card..

I love your videos, but i wish you had better links to buy from. Those links are always full of pop ups “coupon code!” Or “spin the wheel”, which do not inspire me to enter my credit card details. Dangit TechDweeb! Stop making me spend money! lol! Picked up a purple version of this MM+, went to upgrade the speaker, and cracked the faceplate. Went to Miyoo store on Aliexpress and bought a replacement shell. Ordered a black translucent shell, installed the black faceplate (removing the screen from the old shell is NOT for the faint of heart) now I have a two-tone black and purple MM+! I just wish there was a translucent green shell option, Joker green and purple color FTW...Still love the setup!

For me gaming with cheats available for each gba roms are enough 😂

Miyoo mini+ are good

On mine I didn't do any hardware changes,but mine has a. Custom skin I made and I put every possible game I could find on it 172gb I also put 40 gb of mp3s I also skraped all the artwork and renamed all the games so their formats matched. I even have all the ports and some dos games too all configured.all in all like 9000 games and 4000 songs. It is impossible not to find something to play, this nerds best friend

Hello I purchased this based on your suggestion. I played with it less than an hour then all of the audio was gone. Except for the"expert" Section so I know it's not hardware related. Litnxt told me to to reconfig audio and save which I did and still no audio. He said I must have deleted audio file except I only played games now the say I need to buy a new card. Help!

TechDweeb...i got the miyoo mini plus a few days ago, running onion v4.2.3, cheats option is visable in the retroarch menu..i have loaded up a cheat, saved it etc, gone back into the game but it shuts down the game, straight away i load the game again but cheats not working. Questions: what is the full proceedure for getting cheats to work? whats the 'toggle cheat' button?

If I have this one with the onion card can I put it in my computer and save the whole card then just drag and drop everything onto another card then just put it in another miyoo mini plus that doesn’t have onion? Will it install everything automatically or do I have to install onion then put the games and everything on it?

Cmon! If you are used to this Chinese retro handhelds, it SHOULDN'T be any proble to install Onion OS or any other custom firmware!

I ordered mine a couple months ago from keepretro and it came with onion OS installed. And in an actual box, not a soft package.
