And 30 + years later, we pull out of the Mid-East for what 6mo?

US has a bad track record when it’s comes to fighting against guerrilla warfare, as many conventional forces do. However, in a conventional setting. You better make peace with your god or gods before you’re sent back to another earthly realm.

ОтветитьMy dad almost fought in the Gulf War. He joined the navy in 86 when he was 19 and returned home in 89. He told me he considered joining again or joining the army but he didn't. Had he done this or stayed in the navy he likely would've fought in the Gulf War

Ответить"That's Vietnam music... Can't we get our own fucking music?"
ОтветитьI remember being ordered to report to base when Saddam invaded.
Then I remember reading the state department cable that Wikileaks got to us that showed Saddam was set up by US Ambassador Glaspie who promised the U.S. wouldn't 'interfere in arab affairs' if he invaded Kuwait.
I could have died for a lie of my allies. I am glad more sober minds in Australia could still recall our involvement in Vietnam and how military adventurism only benefited the war profiteers.
30 odd years on, they're still at it... the SAME PEOPLE.
This Video was longer than the War…🇺🇸

We had all kinds of music with us, the Commander of the battle Group we were with, wanted us to play Flight of the Valkyrie as we crossed the burm into Iraq. That song was requested a lot.
